Epic Chophouse at Kingsley

Food and table server service was excellent. We were put off by a couple things - restaurant was busy but we had to wait 25 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and they made no attempt to give us the window table we had asked for in our reservation and in a subsequent phone call (celebration of a wedding anniversary) or even mentioned it. Not a necessity clearly but competitive high quality restaurants do this better e.g. making you at least feel important. Other thing is they do not offer free bread at all or a free dessert for a special occasion. Again, not a necessity but it drops this restaurant a notch below competition who does this better. Food quality for the money was very good so we would go back but not for a special occasion.

Always a special time at Epic. The food is fantastic and the service is spot on. They do a great job accommodating one with celiac disease.

Our server, Kioana, was attentive and kind. The food was excellent...ribeye and Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly. It was very noisy inside, but the outside patio offered a great alternative. Love this place!

We celebrated 2 birthdays. Emily our waitress was efficient and very friendly. We will definitely return.

We sat outside on this visit, so it was quiet. I had the Halibut which was good but the fish was not deboned well. My wife had a chicken dish in which she said was very good. My son had the shrimp and steak combo in which he enjoyed.

This is one of our favorite places to dine. The ambience, food, and staff are always super amazing!

The filets were done perfectly and the complementary wine was very good. Jason provided excellent service and advice.

Don't sit near the bar unless you like hearing profanity and loud mouths while you eat over priced steak with one side option less an up-charge for a premium side.

My wife and I completely enjoyed the entire experience. We made reservations, arrived right on time and they had our table ready like they have known us personally. After being seated our waiter (jt)was at the table within 45 seconds to welcome and greet us. Had a great attitude the whole time. He first asked our water preference, presented us with a beverage and appetizer menu along with the days chef specials. Had full knowledge down to the last details about specials and full menu. The epic cheese toast to die for!! We both got steaks(NY strip, Ribeye) both cooked perfectly and full of flavor, sides and salads and French onion soup were also fully on point. At the point when I tought no way this can be topped we was dropped a 5 inch deep praline covered and caramel drizzled NY cheese cake that was completely out of this world. At the end of our meal we were asked did everything meet our expectations and if it was anything that could have been done to improve on. He boxed our leftovers and concluded with thanks to us by name for giving him a chance to wonderfi our evening. The cheese toast , and the NY cheese cake is a must every visit. Will be back over and over.

Mr. Robert was amazing. We went to Epic to celebrate my mother's birthday. He was very attentive and personable. We told him the next time we come, we will request him.

One of my favorite places for food and drink. You get a full pour when you order a glass of wine. I asked for a booth and got one, but next time I will ask for one away from the bar. It was a bit noisy. The cheese cake is to die for!!

My experience at Epic Chophouse was nothing short of amazing. Chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and the atmosphere was great, food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. I would most certainly recommend to anyone looking for an upscale experience that is worth every penny!

Service was good, the food was mostly good. My steak was harder than expected, it was supposed to be a prime sirloin, which wouldn't be as soft as a tenderloin steak but it should not be hard. I ordered it medium. My husband's steak was over done, so was my son's. Everything was well seasoned.

When I made the reservation I noted my spouse and I were celebrating or anniversary. I also requested one of the servers who has waited on us before and gave us amazing service. The experience this time was poor and frankly terrible. The waitress was terrible and never knowledged our anniversary. We completed finished our appetizer and I finally had to ask her to go check on our drinks. Never should you be served your appetizer without your cocktails arriving prior. The server we requested was working so I have no clue why we were not seated in their section.

We love this place. We had excellent service and the whole picture was perfect. However, and this was a first, my petit filet was served cold. It was rare as I had requested but whole dish was served cold. And my husband's rib eye was tough. Returned it with no problem and was served a substitute pork chop but again this was tough. We believe the problem was Sat night is always so busy. We will return but not on a busy night. We are so happy to have such an elegant place here in Fort Mill
