I placed an order to go at the host stand. It was her fourth day, so she needed some assistance. No issue. I placed an order of chili cheese fries and ranch at 4:33. The restaurant wasn’t empty but they certainly weren’t busy.
I asked the hostess to check on my order after 20 minutes and she told me it would be another 10. I received my food at 5:04. Frustrating, but then I open the box to find well overdone fries that had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp and forgotten about for God knows how long. And no side of ranch.
While I waited my 30 minutes for fries, I watched two to three parties have the same conversation with the new hostess and another host or bus boy. Another party commented on how unorganized it was.
I boasted hobos when I moved to fort mill, but the service, food and cleanliness has gone down in recent years. Poor management and lack of care because they’ll always get *someone* in the door.
Eager hand was from a hungry 1 year old who preferred the veggie straws after tasting this.

When waitress doesn’t check to see if everything is okay AND you wait for bill more than 10 minutes AND have to go to the bar and get it; not worth my money for a mediocre restaurant. Watch where you sit, crumbling dust from the brick mortar will ruin your clothes if you happen to sit on a bench full of the dust.

Great place for young families to go and relax on picnic tables in a fenced in area. Cami was amazing and so attentive. She was patient with us since my daughter arrived 20 minutes before us.

I took my grandson to get lunch and sit outside . Picked a table with a umbrella . Server came out and asked us if we could move to the ones without umbrella because they had some people coming. Was rude. I didn’t know you had to make a reservation for a picnic table. And there were only two people that sit down . Fist time last time going.

I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!

Good food, but pretty subtle racist staff. Server blatantly ignored me or didn’t even acknowledge to refill my drink while offering the white individuals at the table to refill their cocktail when it was low and I had to attempt to ask and the server cut me off. Had a completely different demeanor when talking to them and me.
Food & service was great! Will definitely eat here again. Bartender was attentive and dirty martini was perfect!!! Honey spiced chicken sandwich was huge and fries perfect! Lots of food, took half of it home!!!

Sorry Hobo’s, you’ve officially dropped off my restaurant radar. The food used to be good, but when I went recently, that had changed. I thought it was a fluke; anyone can have a bad night. But when I took a couple of people there this week and again the food wasn’t good, I decided I will not be returning. Did they change management or kitchen staff? All the people in my party got hamburgers this last visit, medium rare for each. The meat was well done and dry, as in needing to wash each bite down with a side of beverage. The menu says the burgers are 1/2 a pound. They’d have had to wring every bit of moisture out of it to get it down to the size where 8oz could fit on the itty bitty bun. I should’ve taken a picture to illustrate, since you couldn’t see any meat protruding outside the bun, which had to be under 3” wide. I couldn’t finish mine, a burger with chili, because the chili was literally the worst I’ve ever had and the meat wasn’t worth scraping the chili off to eat alone. I’ve been around chili cook-offs a’plenty and know my way around chili, so that’s saying something. Our server was excellent, though. We didn’t return our food, just chalked it up to experience with a mental note to go somewhere else next time.
