Realmente este lugar cocina muy bueno, pero solo le doy 3 estrellas porque hoy compré para llevar y cuando llegue a mi casa, era tan y tan poquito que no valió la pena gastar más de 100 dólares y quedarte con hambre. Tendré que comprar nuevamente pero en mcdonald's para evitar quedarnos con hambre. Buscaré otra opción de comida japonesa.

We have been loyal customers since the launch in Fort Mill, we order the same items a few times a month but lately we've noticed the portion sizes have significantly decreased, and the prices have increased. Disappointed to say the least, we understand food prices are rising but we would appreciate receiving consistent portions. Konnichiwa will be removed from our takeout options.

First time coming here and it was amazing. Fresh hot and delicious food. But what impressed me most was the atmosphere and employees! Super attentive and friendly. Made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!!

I would recommend this place for great sushi. The crab Rangoon was excellent highly recommended

I placed a call in order Saturday night around 9 pm. First they answered the phone like they were on a personal call. “Hello” I had to say is this Konnichiwa?” Upon placing my order I said I have a question. I would like to get the shrimp bowl but fried. He says grilled only they come grilled I said oh ok well I will take that. Then proceeded to say I want all vegetables except corn. He names them all out and says NO corn. Ok well I will take it. (End of call) well less than 5 mins I was able to find a menu and saw that there was a fried shrimp bowl (Bang Bang) I called right back explained my mistake and asked to change. A lady answers and she was worse than he was. I get to the restaurant they say pick up (and my name) I responded yes and are you the person I spoke to asking the lady I said ma’am you rushed me off the phone and was rude this heifer says yeah yeah. And then the guy wanted to cash me out and I was saying you guys were a little aggressive and rude he thought he could make it right by giving 25% off. I Should have left the food where it was but I wanted it and I was hungry. Needless to say that was probably my last take out from there for a while. It’s Usually a good place but last night was not the best with customer service, and the food presentation was not on point either.

Our first visit, but definitely not our last! Every single thing was SO fresh and flavorful! The staff were super attentive and friendly. The service, superb! A beautiful presentation of foods and so very reasonable priced! I truly haven’t had food this amazing in a long time! And just so happened it was my fiancées birthday and they brought out dessert for him and sang! Such a fantastic experience! I live an hour away, but it’s totally worth the trip!

TL;DR: Great service, great execution, mediocre food (at best)

The people in the restaurant were very nice, led me to a seat while I waited for my takeout order to come out, greeted me with a smile, had a good sense of humor, etc. The only problem that I had with the restaurant was the food.

Everything was wrapped up nice and neat so there was no way for it to spill, which is great because i got a soup. Everything that I needed was in the bag; napkins, spoon, fork, side sauce- so that was another +

The soup was delicious! I got the only option that wasn’t Miso, but I can’t remember the name. It was piping hot but still delicious when it cooled down.

Now for the entree, I got the hibachi chicken bowl... It’s safe to say that I was altogether unimpressed. The chicken itself was the worst part of the whole dish. It was SO dry. Even after drenching it in shrimp sauce (which I never do), it still didn’t taste that great. I didn’t get the zucchini and onions because I’m not a fan, but the mushrooms and broccoli were actually pretty well cooked and tasted good. The rice was about as disappointing as the chicken.

I really wanted to like it. I would absolutely pay the $4 for that soup again, but you will not catch me paying $13 for that chicken plate.

Go here all the time, the guys who work there are great and super friendly. However I had a lady and she charged us $2 for egg in our bowls even though I kept saying normal fried rice. Once it came time to pay she was very rude. I gave her the amount I owed (2 chicken bowls) plus $5 and she said “you’re not going to tip?” After she already scammed us as well. She also got mad that I asked to pay card once I didn’t have enough cash, because I expected our meal to be the normal $25 I always pay for 2 bowls.

Konnichiwa is a very pleasurable dining experience. This was my first time visiting there, and won't be my last. Every single staff member I came into contact with was absolutely amazing. You're greeted coming in, and thanked going out. The food is delicious ??? and the customer service is five star. KUDOS to the entire staff. Thank you for a great first time experience. ❤️

UPDATE:
I wanted to add a new review for my visit today, Wednesday 9/11/24, since it don't have an option to, I'll just add to this one. The server I had last Friday, was the same server I had today, his name is Wayan and he's absolutely amazing. His smile is everything and he did something no other server has ever done before, he shook my hand and said it was a pleasure to meet me. So professional, yet so sweet and endearing. ? The customer service here is top notch. I'm including photos of today's meal. Everything was absolutely and positively good! ???

So good!! We got the Godzilla, mango madness, and salmon teriyaki rolls and they were all so good! The servers were so polite, and the setting very charming!

Sesame habachi chicken was a joke!
Canned corn, rice and green beans with over battered chicken. Very greasy made me ill! The sushi wasn't much better.
