Gio's Pastry Shop, Caffe & Italian Market

Marie has built a great business. There isn't anything that she has that isn't good..everything is beyond delicious!! My absolute favorite is the sfoigliatelle.

The pastries were life changing. So so good. I’ll be back. The service was excellent. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

We were so endeared by the world class customer service that we decided on getting a little bit of everything, Sourdough, Vodka Sauce, Bolognese Sauce, Croissants, New Jersey Crumb Cake, traditional spaghetti noodles from Italy, Pina Colada Cheesecake, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Mousse and even homemade Bees Wax candles.
And guess what, it was all superb! I mean it! The bread was baked fresh, the sauces and noodles were delicious and authentic. The desserts were to die for, truly phenomenal, and the candles smell great, burn great and are better for our health than mainstream ones!

Thank you Maria and Family for a wonderful tour of Italy’s offerings. We can tell you love what you do by how exceptional everything was!

We are from NC and stumbled upon this place while exploring a it’s a true gem! We were welcomed like family and had some great conversation and food! We got lots of sweets to enjoy immediately and bought some pasta to take home. We will definitely be back!

I love this place! They are super friendly and the pastries and food are excellent. My only complaint is they arent open on Sundays. I need fresh pastries on Sunday for Sunday dinner

Stopped by to grab some essentials for the upcoming week. They had a great selection of homemade ravioli options and pasta sauce. Grabbed some lobster ones and some with spinach and nuts. They had some great fresh bread and as always, more pastries than I should eat.

Always a very friendly group inside helping and good fresh options. Will be back.

I recommend the sfogiatelle (clamshell), but be careful. They are addicting! Gio’s has delicious pastries and wonderful customer service. I hope the next generations will be willing to take on the labor of love to keep the shop going for years and generations to come. You must visit!

Came from Fort mill to see them. Idk how I found them on fb but I've been wanting to go. They were so sweet when I told them how far we came they gave us a free loaf of bread.

We have been coming to Gio's since they first had the courage to open their store during the fallout from Covid-19 in 2021. We are so glad they did, Gio's is a local treasure! Having a local, fresh pastry shop that does not require driving into Greenville or even Simpsonville is such a blessing. We've always been satisfied with everything we've purchased, in fact our problem is always that we can't afford to buy one of everything!

Today I purchased a freshly baked loaf of bread, it was still warm from the oven!! It made THE BEST grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Our favorites are the Tiramisu, Pignoli cookies (pine nut cookies, you have to get them Saturday morning when they put them out because they sell so quickly), and the chocolate mousse.

Thank you for all the hard work you guys put into your craft each day, it is making all of our lives a little sweeter!

Absolutely love this place. Reminds of the small hole in the wall shops back home that had the best items. Love that I can go in and grab all sorts of items for any time of day. They also carry hard to find items like certain cuts of pasta, cheeses, sausages from up north, scungilli, etc. Amazing customer service and the owner and her family make you feel like you're their family. Something very special and almost lost in today's places.

It wasn’t for me. The prices were kinda on the high side and the taste was not that good on multiple items I tried.
