I think the bad reviews are off the mark. Just left on a busy Friday night and service was awesome.

The food was good as usual but it took an awful lot of time to be served. We arrived at 11:30 and got our food at 12:10. Nothing fancy, a salad and a chicken sandwich

First let me start by saying the food was but it wasn’t $120 good for 2 lunch plates. I went for lunch last week and my bill was $63. The next day I found out my debit card had been charged twice. I called the bank first and they advised it would be faster to get my refund from J Peters. So I contacted the GM Kelly and she argued with me that it wasn’t their fault and it was the banks fault. I gave her the benefit of doubt and called my bank back. They sent me a transaction break down that shows J Peters terminal and the transaction being charged at same terminal at different times the same day! So I called Kelly back and told her I had this report and would bring it by so she could see it. She told me I could drop it by but it wouldn’t make a difference because it wasn’t their problem, it was the banks. She was very sassy and unprofessional when she said this. I then ask for Corporates phone number but she would not give it to me. She said she would give them my number to call me. I have not heard anything back from anyone. So not only did I get charged $120 for 2 lunch plates but I got no help and lots of attitude! This is not the first time I have had issues with their customer service. I keep giving them another chance but I guarantee this is the last!

Love the atmosphere, service and food! The hostess had a bit of an attitude and dropped our silverware on the table loudly when my husband requested a booth instead of a table in the window, but we had a fantastic server.

Server was really nice. Everyone got steak. My sirloin was over-charred and didn't have any flavor but everyone else got prime rib and loved it. Salads were great.

We had the 8 oz Filet Mignon and a fried chicken salad. Both were just ok. Not much flavor to either one. Service was excellent and staff friendly, but the food is much better at Texas Roadhouse at a much lower price.

Went there for anniversary. Waitress was very professional. Both of us got same meal which was seafood. Was delicious. Will go again.

Great food experience off f the early bird special, folks you've got to try out the fried fish platter, I had mine's with the loaded mash potatoes. The Mrs. had the shrimp platter with the sweet potatoes fries & the honey butter sauce for the sweet potatoes Service is always courteous & with a smile. Only 1 draw back during my visit, we had a hiccup with the utensils, but they corrected the snafu, which was why this round they got 4 stars, but y'all want some great food for a great price & a smile, go check out J Peter's in Fountain Inn.

I was exploring Fountain Inn and had heard this place had good burgers. It was in the afternoon on a Saturday and it wasn't terribly busy. I decided to sit at the bar.The employees were all very nice and kept checking on me. When my burger arrived it looked great and was simply huge. I started into it and it tasted great.Why the 3 star review? I ordered the burger well done and it was practically raw other than the outside edges. Like red and you could pull the raw meat out of the burger. I had to stop eating it and later that evening my stomach was paying the price.I told my server and acknowledged it wasn't her fault and asked if I wanted something else. I declined. She ended up comping the meal even though I offered to pay.It's a nice place and they were all so friendly. I'll go back and try them out again.

The place was clean at least but far as service and getting food and drinks no!! My family and I was very disappointed because it took 30 minutes just for our drinks and appetizers . We was there for an hour and a half and never received our food . Other people we noticed was having the same issues . We will definitely no return back
Great little place on main street. Service was good and atmosphere was good. Now the bad. Had a party of 8 and both of the ribeye steaks came out charred...like over charred. And 2 plates of salmon came out under done. Now will I go back...sure.

Always look forward to eating here. However tonight’s meal was horrible for both me and my wife. She ordered her norm. Sirloin med well. It was completely raw and had to be sent back. Once it finally returned it was dry and to tough to eat. I’m thinking Microwave!! As for me I ordered a rack of ribs. Totally wrong choice. What little meat that was there was full of bone shards and was jerky tough. I had planned on speaking to management before leaving but my wife just wanted to get out of there. J Peters your standards should be higher than what you served us tonight.

This place has consistently gone down hill. 3-4 years ago, J Peters in Fountain Inn was amazing but since then it has gotten pretty pathetic. I always get the J Peters Chicken....literally the only thing I ever get. It’s like 18 bucks but in the past it was worth it. Well not any more. The portions are getting smaller and now they have apparently abandoned grated cheeses and threw two slices of what appeared to be Kraft singles on top of a piece of lunch meat (the ham) and a small chicken breast under that. We tried to stick it out in hopes of the quality improving but we will not be going back after this last visit.

The food quality is high and the service was outstanding. The Shrimp and Collard Greens were excellent but the Steak I ordered medium was closer to well done. I didn't give them an honest try to correct it by asking for the replacement to be cooked Medium Rare. It wasn't cooked enough for me. I'll take the blame for that. I will come back someday and I believe I will have a great experience.

Food was cold. We were there for over 2 hours. Took 3 prints to get our check correct. Ordered 2 drinks, only got one . 2 tables left while they were waiting for their server. It was extremely poor. Mgr was trying but no one else was.
