Went today while traveling. Was told a 15 min wait to be seated which was right. Ordered drinks and food then after no food was started at the table after 25 mins I asked what was going on. One lady said 15 more mins one said wouldn’t be long. Paid for my drinks and left. Terrible experience. It’s fine if you don’t have workers but at least be transparent with customers.
We paid $70 for 3 hibachi meals that were no where near full. When I called about the food, I was asked 20 questions by the person who answered. She basically refused to let me speak with a manager. When she finally did, I was offered an appetizer to make up for the lack of food. Their reason was I didn’t call them the same day I ordered. service was good, hardly any one there at lunch, chef was good and so was the fried rice. I got the filet and it was tough!!! they cooked another piece, also tough. I got filet fried rice to go, it was also like shoe leather. I do know my filet and there is no way this was filet. my husband got steak and chicken, his chicken was good, but his steak was tough too. it was our first and last time there. we will stick with Kanpai !!
