Alex's Restaurant Reviews
My husband and I just had the most amazing service from Natalie. She went over and above to ensure we were well taken care of. Have never had anything great experiences at Alex's although today takes the cake.
We went for lunch and the food was Amazing I got the fried pork chops with rice/gravy and collards. I’m very picky about my collards but I haven’t tasted collards that good since my childhood. Food brings back good memories of good cooking eating… don’t get rid of you cook that’s for sure
The biscuits are the worst in town... hard and rubbery... cooked too long in the microwave. Tried to get a knife so I could half even cut them but the waitresses had better things to do that to wait on me even though there was only 2 tables to wait on. anyone who gives recommends this place has no taste buds, more money than they have sense, or both. food and service hasn't changed in years. They just charge you more for it.

Alex's Restaurant is a welcoming establishment known for its quick and friendly service. The menu offers a variety of options, including the Western Omelette, Big Country Omelette, pecan pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and a daily specials section. The short stack of pancakes and the omelette with bacon and cheese have been praised for their quality. This is a real local monument and a ritual for comfort food. The food is legitimately elite, packed, balanced, and cooked like someone actually gives a damn. The staff is pleasant, courteous, and accommodating, providing excellent service and consistency that means something. Customers have consistently had great experiences, with the food being well-seasoned and the portions being generous.
