This review is for the Goose Creek, South Carolina Captain D’s. I bought clam strips and which had lots of breading and slivers of clam. Most of what I had was breading. The majority of the breading pieces didn’t even have a piece of clam in it.

Very slow service food was great waited almost 30 min. To get my food and it was a big order . I don't think I'll stop again unless service improves. Food was great service very slow 🐌.

We sat to the drive thru for 20mins plus. No service. The drive people didn't not even speak to us. Worst service I ever had. Matter fact I didn't even get any service.

Ordered the catfish sandwich. It was very soggy which made it disgusting to eat. Too much whatever that sauce is they put on there.

The food I had was ok. I got the 4 piece chicken tenders with fries and hush puppies. The tenders were fresh and they did taste good. The hush puppies I thought would have a little more flavor but they were good. The only real problem I had was that the lady’s that were working were playing around way too much! My brother asked for sweet and sour sauce and all the lady had to say was no sir we don’t have that type of sauce. She replied with we don’t have that. It’s the way she said it, it sounded very rude. They were even playing around in the restaurant. Like I said the food was good. However, I don’t think it’s good enough for me to try them again.

Ordered through the drive thru, sat at the speaker for several minutes and wasn't acknowledged, until I asked if anyone was there several times. The employee at the window made a great case for AI to take over these jobs. She was lazy, incompetent and clearly did not want to be there or at any job. Capt Ds can definately do better.

The fish and chicken combo was fresh. The wait time was a little long but i would assume the lack of flow of customers would be the issue as i wouldnt want to waste food either if i knew it was a slow day. Otherwise an exceptional visit.
