“It really bothers me that I have to do this. I have been going to Alex restaurant for many years. I grew up eating at this restaurant. Today my mother who is hospitalized asked me to go to Alex and get her some lunch. I was so excited because for a long time she had no appetite. (she's battling Cancer) I went and got her some hamburger steak, brown gravy and rice and cabbage. As my mother was eating we noticed that the hamburger steak was not cooked throughly. Since I was at the hospital and was visiting for awhile I decided to take a picture and throw it away. I called the restaurant as I left the hospital and explained what happened. The first young lady was polite and told me I had to speak to her manager. Her manager Ms Ruby came to the phone and was sarcastic to say the least. She over talked me as I was trying to explain to her that I threw it away but I took a picture. Needless to say I was told that because I didn't have the food to bring back they would not remake the food. Out of all the years I have been going here I have never experienced this. As much as I hate it (which they don't care, that was evident from the phone call) they have lost a loyal customer me and my family frequently eat at this establishment almost everyday. I don't have time to try and scam a restaurant out of a hamburger steak meal.“

“We just touched down for a well needed break! Hungry didn’t know where to go, came across this Resturant Listen! We had the pleasure of enjoying fried mushrooms, theeeeee best crab cakes I have even eaten! The bomb wings along with a massive chef salad!!! The prices are ridiculous great!!!! Staff very friendly the restaurant has a unique vibe that’s new fresh! Moral of this review! You will be more than pleased! She shall return with the crew next visit!“
