Went for dinner about 6:30 on a Tuesday night. No one was in the restaurant. Should have been our first clue...I was served an old/bad glass of wine. Server immediately knew, and said she would open a new bottle. Fish was smelly, rubbery. There were 4 of us and even the corn on the cob wasn't good. We won't be back, lucky none of us got food poisoning!

One of the few seafood restaurants in Goose Creek. They do a great job with quality and service by their staff. I live close so it's always a pleasure to eat there.

Gilligan's Seafood is my go-to casual restaurant for great, affordable seafood in the Lowcountry.

We went for a pre birthday celebration for myself and family. It was quiet which was perfect. We had a child with us that was allergic to shellfish and the staff was very accommodating so he wouldn’t feel left out. Shout it to the manager MJ. He rocked! Will definitely be back again!

Congratulations and thank you Chris the newly promoted manager for contacting me to rectify a situation. I appreciate it as this is my go to brunch place and oyster spot.

It was pretty slow when we went around 3pm.

The people were nice, but not as attentive as I would expect for a fairly empty place.

We got grouper tacos and a crab cake sandwich.
Both were good.
The coleslaw and chili sauce on the tacos were killer.

However, the hush puppies were a bit greasy and turned my stomach upside down and inside out. They tasted good, but didn't sit long.

Parking: there's plenty of parking but just a heads up that there is a slope and you may scrap your bumper going in or out if you drive a lower car.

I had snow crab. It was delicious. The decor is very nice except when you first come in and go to the left there’s a big old rip in the carpet. It’s repaired, but it’s totally obvious.
