Whenever there's a long line the staff is STILL professional, serve you with a smile and move customers in and out VERY quickly!! H & J Seafood will always be my place for fresh seafood!! We had an oyster roast, this past Saturday, for my Mom's Birthday. We ordered 4 bushels of the clusters/blades. We're a family of big oyster eaters and these were the absolute BEST oysters we've ever eaten. All of our guests, said the same thing. They were delicious and perfectly salty and so clean, we didn't need to clean them! Thank you H&J Seafood!

On the negative side: Not very much selection and it smelled worse than the usual seafood shop. On the positive: Competitive pricing and I'm always glad to shop at a family business. The owner was teaching her daughter how to run the register and it was kind of touching.

I found a blue pill shaped object in my crabs. I was very confused and concerned so I never ate my blue crabs , did anyone else have these issues ?

I had an issue and I in box them. They apologies for what happened. Matthew said the next time I come in to ask for him. Me thinking yeah right. But when I can in and said I was the one who inbox on facebook he immediately took care of the problem. I been coming to the place for over 10 years. It’s convenient and I love it. If there was a 10 I would give it to them. Thanks again Matthew.
