Ordered sanno I roll, it was really yummy but super messy and hard to pick up with falling apart. The atmosphere was pleasant although it was empty on a Tuesday evening. The server was fantastic!
Sanno Japanese Restaurant has always been one of my favorite spots in Charleston, but my recent visit left me a bit disappointed. The food was still good, but I could definitely tell there’s a different cook—something about the flavors just wasn’t the same. Unfortunately, the sushi wasn’t fresh, as my avocados were brown, which was a letdown.
