Authentic! Excellent quality. Highly recommend! Got the tamales. Delicious. Fresh. My server was very sweet and attentive. My new favorite place! ?

I ordered from here 2 days in a row because I was dreaming of the chicken mole tamale after trying it the first night. The sauce was so rich, so deeply flavorful, I had to order more the next day. This is my new food obsession.

The tacos were good, with carne asada, pastor and cabeza being the standouts. The lengua was a bit tough and gamey.

The elote was delectable, and I was thrilled that the serving was 2 cobs, so I could share. The rice was a little dry and mealy both days, but the beans were yummy.

The nachos are highly recommended for a reason, and a perfect appetizer! The stuffed poblano is tender and smothered in cheese sauce.

The Jamaica agua fresca is new to me. Sweet but mild in flavor I couldn't identify. Maybe hibiscus?

I want more of this mole, so we will definitely be ordering again!

Yeeteroni Pizza

I got the burrito and split the nachos with a friend. Both were excellent, really delicious.

The sopes were pretty good but paying $11 for a margarita that came from a pre mix bottle from Walmart that you can get for $12 in store was kinda crazy. I felt like the prices were a bit steep for the quality

The food is authentic and delicious. I recommend the chorizo dip. It's a small portion but enough for an appetizer. The salsa is fresh, too. The tacos were great.
I recommend the birria taco.

To piggyback off the other most recent 1 star review, I had a similar experience. I have been to this restaurant many many times and it has been good but it seems they are starting to take a downward turn. I ordered 5 tacos tonight and 2 were taco americano which i have gotten many times. These tacos always come in a hard shell and I was not asked on the phone what my preference was. I got there, paid, and received my food. I got back to the car to check my order and noticed the taco americanos were in soft shell. No big deal. I go back and explain the mix up, they take my food and I thought my tacos would be remade fresh. I got home to discover that they took my food in the back and dropped my existing tacos, shell and all, into another (hard) shell. So, pretty much screw me and my money and my experience. Guess I'll go home and play chef and do their job for them. News flash, you're one of like 25 Mexican restaurants in town, you better start caring about your customers because you just lost a frequent customer. Also, girls working the counter have no people skills and the personality of a toothpick. The atmosphere SUCKS, plain and boring like do you even care. Must be why there are never any patrons inside. Start caring about your business bc Charleston and surrounding ain't the place to play around. Keep going like this and you'll be closed sooner than later. Like I said, you ain't the only taco stand in town. Go to blue tequila to learn a little about atmosphere and customer service.

Where do I start?? We frequent this restaurant one or two times a week tonight we ordered DoorDash from this restaurant and it was absolutely disappointing!! I ordered two orders of chips and salsa that weren’t even included in the bag (10) I ordered two large cheese, dips and chips-(4.95x2) We received two tiny little cups and no chips (See photo) I ordered two pieces of street corn with very light mayonnaise- (See Photo) Instead, they loaded it down with me mayonnaise which was absolutely disgusting!!! Straight in the trash- (3.99 x 2) we also ordered a burrito California- (12.99) The avocados on top were rotted and who made the pico today because they put pale tomatoes on it that weren’t even ripe and I ordered steak for the burrito and they were two or three pieces in it?? And also the side of rice that we ordered was very undercooked! I’m not sure what happened tonight and would hate to think that this is the beginning of a turnaround for you guys because we usually love your food but tonight it wasn’t happening!! I have given you many kudos to our neighbors talking about how good that your food was-I can’t do that after tonight!
