Just moved to Greenville and I've already found my favorite place! The staff here are so friendly - I can tell I'm going too often because they already have my order memorized, but they are always so nice!
The inside is nice and quiet, with K-pop playing but not too loud. Even at their busiest, I can get a table right away.
The prices are reasonable if you consider the amount of food that you end up getting with the side dishes, and they always offer to replenish side dishes for no cost (and if you go too often like I do, they will start asking if there are any particular side dishes you'd like to have from the start)
I highly recommend this place, and I will continue to be a regular as long as they keep having such great tteokbokki and service!

Abigail, Gloria, and Matt are great!! One of the reasons I go back is because of them. They always make me feel welcome and their service is ALWAYS top notch. Aside from the fabulous service, as a Korean myself, I can safely say that this is as authentic as it will get.
I used to drive to Atlanta to get my Korean food fix. Now I can happily enjoy my motherland food right here in GVL!
I don’t eat A LOT, but I can eat a fair amount. I leave full every time. They use high quality ingredients and tastes clean every time. I would say considering this and the fact they refill side dishes the price is actually pretty decent, especially lunch prices.
I will be back to try all the dishes!

It was mine and my friends’ first time at Arisu and we were BLOWN AWAY by the delicious food and at such a great value!!!! The lunch specials come with an epic selection of banchan that I gobbled up like a hippo! We shared the Spicy Tteokbokki and Spicy Pork Kimbap which the entire table loved. My main was the Galbi Lunch Box, and the short ribs were perfectly seasoned and mouth-wateringly delicious.
Our gracious server, Matt, made our first experience one we will never forget. He was patient with our first time jitters while ordering, and his thoughtful recommendations were on point. Thank you so much for your insight and warmly welcoming service, Matt!
And the latest KPop hit ambience was EVERYTHING! Aespa, Illit, Ive, Izna and more, but at a respectful sound level. I could’ve danced in the aisle if I wasn’t so busy stuffing my face, lol.

One of the newest kids on the block, Arisu1099 welcomes a refreshing invitation to Korean dishes which is something greenville truly has been missing for 20 years. With our server Matt guiding us through our menu, sharing laughs, and showing us the top 100 on the kpop charts (Cortis! Fighting!) what more could you ask for? The lunch menus filled to the brim with food at a fair price with apps curbing the hunger you haven’t satiated yourself. Get real, get out of the house, have Arisu.

Matt was a gem so kind and funny. Will def be back and ask for him. I had the chicken bulgogi, it was a ton of food and so delicious! My friends ordered apps for our table to share we had the chicken wings , cheese corn , and spicy rice noodle ! Everything was beyond delicious!
