Worst MOTEL experience of my life! I booked a room here for a week and the very next morning the power went out… Being cautious and also understanding that their system was down due to lack of power I decided to leave until they got it together! Day 6 still no power and this place refused to give me a refund let alone HALF of what i payed and they were fully aware of the hurricane situation! The “owner” told me “nobody else wanted a refund, nobody else left”! “You’re not getting a refund, take me to civil court” (which i am going to do)! Mind you NONE of the amenities such as the gym and “dining area”, weren’t operational at all! The room’s windows are glued shut forcing the previous tenants smoke to still linger! The hallways were beyond filthy, the elevator rarely worked, the receptionists were rude, one of the maids stole a pair of my slides, the police were always there taking someone to jail, the loitering is intimidating, i had random people asking for rides and change prior to the weather conditions, the pool was probably the only thing that seemed presentable! DO NOT BOOK HERE I AM WARNING YOU

It's a very nice place to stay and even extended stay. Staff and management are superb. It's a lot better priced than most places. Currently they're doing remodels but my fiancee and I have been here 5 months and have no issues with staff or management.
Rooms: Very spacious and you don't hear your neighbors through the walls as most hotels
Food and drinks: Has an excellent inexpensive breakfast choice. Awesome food

Check in process was good. Front desk was very helpful in finding me an ADA room which was needed for my wife. My room wasn't ready when I checked in, but that was no big deal, I just left for a few hours. Once I got into the room, the room was clean and appeared fairly well kept. First floor needs some TLC. The floor carpet desperately needs to be replaced. The hallway could also do with the coat of paint. The laundry room is small but all machines were functioning. I have not had any issues with noise or bugs. Overall good value for the price. I suspect that most of the negative reviews were put there by people who didn't follow the rules. No place is perfect so I suspect some of the reviews are legit but also some are because they are mad they got caught breaking rules.
Rooms: Very clean and spacious awesome security and local law enforcement they work together

First off Ms Margaret only let workers there she can fully control ex drug heads...they have a lot of bugs don't let nobody lie to you .....it's bug traps everywhere sticky traps full of roaches behind the mini fridge you will see a roach crawl across your TV...Ms Margaret will get over on younger black females that get a room they make up false reason to keep your deposit an when you catch on they will band you from the hotel it's a scam ! 0 outta 10 they leave food an etc under the beds an dressers ..intown sweets cheaper too for a week an better ??♂️

Nice place they have good security. Nice looking pool too ,the $4 breakfast is always good . Most people keep to themselves . I never saw any problems the month I stayed there it has laundry on site too . The people behind the front desk are nice and helpful . I will stay there again
