Basilico Greenville

Pauline, our server, was wonderful. We enjoyed the crab/shrimp ravioli…it was decadent. The Greek spaghetti was delicious. The capellini and mussels had just the right amount of garlic and lemon…many, many mussels. The ‘to go’ cannoli cake was an excellent choice. Well done Basilico!

Service was weak. Food was missing seasonings & was basic. Average food with nothing spectacular. Sangria was the best thing and he took like 15 minutes to get it for us when there was literally only 2 tables. Disappointing experience overall. Spaghetti & meatballs tasted like they were out of a can. Calamari was chewy & flavorless. Won't be back.

I enjoy this place above average for Italian and priced well. I love their Chicken Piccata. Bolognese is good, but be sure to let them know not to drown pasta. their pasta itself is well made. Cheese cakes, surpass all the other restaurants in the city, in my opinion.

My experience was 5 star! I was there for an event and the staff members did a fantastic job and were so attentive! They even had a gluten free penne option!! Everything I tried was delicious! It was so nice to enjoy a GF pasta when I usually have to avoid pasta while dining out.

I can not wait to go back. So many options to choose from. I am a pescatarian, and I still STUFFED MY FACE. I even had food to take home. Hands down the best Marinara Sauce I've had in a restaurant EVER... And the Red Velvet Cake is a must have...

This food will truly insult your taste buds if you’ve ever had decent Italian. And I don’t mean you need to have been to Italy, I just mean a place that makes fresh food. While the service is great and the atmosphere is nice, the food is clearly from frozen or made in advance. Even the sauce likely came from a container.
