My wife and I stopped in for a slice of the sweet potato cake with my friend and his wife Saturday night before the hockey game. It was my first time here and let me tell you something. That sweet potato cake is DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS! They know what they have and they aren't afraid to use it. One of the best slices of cake I've ever had.

I used to love Brick Street Café, especially their famous sweet potato cake, but it’s definitely not the same anymore. The cake used to be rich, moist, and full of flavor — now it tastes dry, almost burnt, and not mixed well. The small cake is noticeably smaller, yet the price has gone up quite a bit. Also, they don’t offer any contactless payment options, which feels inconvenient. Sadly, this experience ruined my husband’s birthday since he didn’t like the cake at all. I won’t be back.

This place is amazing I came here to bring a group tht was touring Greenville S.C I went in a young lady ask me was I eatting in I said no Im getting it to go she showed me where to order. The older guy tht took my order I was so undecided he read me the meun and was very nice I got the BBQ sandwich and it was full of BBQ& had a good taste. I never in my life had BBQ tht taste this good..OMG..

Last month I purchased a carrot cake for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was spectacular. I wasn’t a fan of carrot cake until I tried a slice from here. It was perfect! It wasn’t too sweet, moist, and overall delicious! I’ve been back 2x since then. I highly recommend it! Also, the staff is pleasant.
