I ordered two chocolate peanut butter cakes for two birthdays. I have raved about how excellent the cakes were to my sister and wanted to specially get her one for her 50th birthday. I drove an hour and half to Greenville to get the best cake ever.....this time was a sore disappointment. The cake was extremely dry and it was difficult to cut though the bottom layer. Obviously now my opinion on the best cake ever is highly questionable by my sister and family.

I go here for the cake. There's no better cake within a hundred mile radius. Sweet potato cake, coconut cake, I used to get the pineapple cake but they seemed to have abandoned the pineapple,
I visited Brick Street Cafe this past Friday while in Greenville,SC for lunch. I had the vegetable quiche and it was fair. It had been over baked and almost cool when served. They are known for their cakes and tried their sweet potato cupcake. It was delicious. So yes for the cake!Parking: Park behind the building!

My family and I stopped in near closing on a Saturday with the idea to get some cake for dessert. We had been craving a good cake for weeks and let me tell you Brick Street Cafe delivered. We tried the German chocolate cake and sweet potato cake and both were so good. Our daughter has now declared she wants sweet potato cake for every birthday from now on. Everyone we came into contact with was so friendly and welcoming and showed no sign of rushing us out the door. I look forward to coming back to Brick Street Cafe and trying their food menu next.

We love this place! Best shrimp and grits in Greenville. The Love Muffin is delicious and of course the cakes are amazing. Have had the Sweet Potato Cake and the German Chocolate Cake. It never disappoints. Friendly staff and I have personally met Sara and can tell she puts a lot of pride in her team and restaurant.
