We loved the pretty atmosphere, but it was tarnished by the lack of friendliness from the staff. I don’t know what it was, but we just felt unwelcome. No ease or humor from our server. That being said, the restaurant was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and provide a gluten free salmon dish prepared how we requested. I just moved to Greenville & was so happy that there is a Bricktop’s in town. It was one of my favorite restaurant when I lived in Nashville. They have fresh, tasty, excellently prepared food. The seating area in the restaurant is elegant and comfortable. I enjoy sitting at the bar during happy hour that starts at 4:00 pm. Go early because the bar fills up quickly. My two previous visits I ordered the prime rib and it was delicious. This last Tuesday I ordered the ribeye but it was chewy and I cannot recommend it. Ekrem, our server, did a great job. The manager did offer to replace it with prime rib but I was half way through the steak and didn't want to take the time. I will return, but no ribeye in the future. They gave us a free dessert.
