We were looking forward to trying this place. It was not a good experience. Serving size super small for the price. Pasta was dry even asking for more dressing for it. Fountain drinks were awful. We asked for them to replace it twice, but they did not. We always eat off of Augusta when at work. We will never return here. I would rather eat at Subway, and that says a lot.

This is a TRUE NY Deli! As a NY Native my fiancé and I have been DYING for a true deli. C&C's hits the mark every time and their portions are huge. If you haven't been to a true bodega in the city or boroughs then your judgement on wait times is irrelevant. Wait times are the norm especially for a family run deli like C&C's. We cant stop bragging about their food its THAT good. I need them to open another shop closer to Fountain Inn but until then we will make the commute.

Benefit of the doubt, giving three stars because I really would like to see the concept of neighborhood NY deli succeed. But these guys don't really know how to make a decent sandwich for the value. Sorry, its a price/execution problem. I did come back and try the Reuben. Not even close to the top five in town or even, maybe, top ten with Arby's beating them out. Arby's has a pretty decent Reuben, but best in house right now is probably Select in Greer followed by Greenfields Deli. (By default that both The Cafe at Wilson's Hardware in TR and Bacon Brothers closed). Back to the review. First visit, Italian Combo, see review. Very light on the meat side. Second (this) visit with my son, I had the Reuben and he had the Italian Combo. Both with chips and a drink came to $39. Yep, you read that right, which is fine if the sandwiches knocked your socks off. But, the Reuben was disappointing. The bread was lightly, lightly toasted, no butter. Sauerkraut was very light and I really couldn't tell if there was any Swiss cheese on this sandwich. The meat was also warm outside, but cold to center. The meat portion was not well proportioned to the sandwich overall. It was decent, but not even close to the $12.99 price tag. I can't even for certain say that all the basic ingredients were there much less the execution. So, I love the guys. Very friendly. Love the story. But, please, rethink how to make a sandwich for this price. Yeah, I have been to NY and eaten at plenty of NY deli's, so put that card back in the deck. It's not only overpriced, but under-executed. For context: same meal at Jersey Mike's (Italian #13 Regular) with chips and bottle of water is $14.34 including tax. Harry's Hoagies is $11.80 for the 6 inch. Publix (Boar's head just like C & C, whole Italian sub) $9.59 for the whole sub. Even today, Chick-Fil-A - #2 combo, large drink, medium fries and an extra eight count nugget, $16.33 with tax.

I was visiting Greenville with my wife this past weekend and decided to give this new deli a try for lunch. In various places on the web and Facebook, reviews and interviews talk about how the bread is shipped down to South Carolina from the Bronx in New York City.. But, in my opinion it must be shipped down frozen because both my wife and I thought the bread was lousy. My wife didin't even try eating it and just ate the meat in her sandwich with a knife and fork. I had a meatball parmigiana sandwich...the meatballs and the sauce tasted fine but again the bread was mediocre. ... it tasted like leftover bread I would reheat at home.... I think they just heated everything up in a convection oven like they do at Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. Overpriced for what it is. Perhaps they can acquire fresh bread that is baked locally at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery. Their bread is fresh baked every day.

I ordered a cheese steak. It was let down. It was all bread which tasted old to me. The steak slice was so thin! I paid a lot for just the sandwich and a drink.

Great NY style subs ?tried a cold Italian Combo and the Goodfella an awesome hot chicken cutlet sandwich. The amazing bread, peppers, and tasty cheese really make both sandwiches. Guys working were super friendly too.

Had a great lox and bagel breakfast. Chris works the counter and works the room to give it an authentic Bronx deli feel. My wife especially enjoyed the breakfast potatoes. Not a lot of room for seating but we relaxed at a table for two.
