So good! I'm a videographer/photographer who helps restaurants with content for social media and websites and I recently shot for Cafe West. I was behind the scenes getting to know the backstories and seeing the food as it was being prepared, and it all looked amazing! I got the turkey bacon havarti and it was awesome! Great food. Great atmosphere. Great people.

I was traveling from Charlotte back to Atlanta and had a few hours to burn. I love downtown Greenville and it was lunchtime so I searched “best lunch near me”. Cafe West was #1 so I came here.
It’s quaint and has obviously been around for a while. Genuine staff, lots of locals coming in to pick up their take out and I am so happy I came here.
I had the Sunset sandwich on sourdough, a small side of minestrone soup and then…the coup de gras…a cold brew (coffee) and brownie mix milk shake 😳. Rocked my world!! 🤌🏻
I’ll be back!

Cute sandwich shop! Better than other sandwich shops nearby. Portion was great and the pasta salad is perfect to go along with the sandwiches. Definitely will be back.

Their chicken salad might be the best in Greenville. Little gem I happened across and was quite pleased. Easy place to drop in for a quick lunch. Service was super fast.

Our first day in GVL went for breakfast… avocado toast on a croissant was out of this world and scrambled eggs with everything in it also delicious. Going back for the waffles.

Absolutely delicious food! Thanksgiving sandwich is my absolute favorite! Highly recommend this place
By far, this is the best French toast I have ever had. They use a light sourdough bread. No powdered sugar was required. And the maple syrup was, well very Maple-ly.

I'm always on the hunt for the elusive butterscotch latte and today I found another one. This place has great breakfast sandwiches, coffee and the owners are awesome. Might be my new local breakfast fave.

I've been sick to my stomach since I left. Not sure if it was the coffee or the owner who sat with us uninvited and talked politics or asked personal questions until we left.

Hit the spot! I am always worried about not liking a new spot but they did not disappoint!! The chicken bacon pepper jack was DELICIOUS! The soup of the day was so fresh. I wish I had ordered an extra. Will be taking my family next time.
