Carmella's Cafe and Dessert Bar

A pleasant up-beat cafe in downtown Greenville. A very wide range of food and beverages in a warm, inviting space. Indoor and outdoor options are comfortable and enjoyable. Desserts are my favorite food item, but there is also a full bar if the you'd like that. They can be very busy on weekends which slows down the service, but the staff is alwys great.

My wife and I always have to drop by for dessert whenever we have dinner in Downtown! They have a wonderful atmosphere, dessert, drink, and cafe options, and I can’t ever leave without a cannoli or a honey/cinnamon latte!
The last few times we’ve been in, Seth has helped us out and has the best attitude! No matter how long the line is, he always takes his time making great recommendations, cutting up with good jokes and making the experience feel super personable!
We will of course be back!

Service was so bad that I don’t plan on going back. My friend got devastating health news. After reading the reviews I thought that this would be a great place to take her. To cheer her up. I was so wrong. We had a few questions about ingredients and the guy taking our order had such an attitude. No smile and treated us as if we were a problem. I didn’t realize being kind is so hard!!!

First time at Carmella’s. Super clean and modern atmosphere. Easy to spend a long time enjoying an amazing cup of coffee and dessert. Huge selection of meals, coffees, deserts and even gelatos / sorbets. Tiramisu was amazing!!!

I took my daughter and her friend here today and was once again blown away by this places relevant desserts and atmosphere. It’s our favorite place next to Falls Park. They have something sweet for every member of the family, and it’s all made to perfection! We will definitely be back.
