Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Love the booths and the ambiance of the fish tank and giant fan blades on ceiling. The southern fried chicken was amazing, perfectly fried and extra crispy. Perfect. But the best part was our server AJ. She showed great character and although I watched her run from table to table, she always bounced to ours with enthusiasm and took the time to offer suggestions and bring anything we asked for quickly. Thank you!

This was my first time eating at Cheddars this past Friday night 12/12/25. I ordered the chicken fingers platter and it was 10/10. Can’t wait to go back

Unfortunately, our server, Hope, provided the worst service I’ve experienced. Our food took over 50 minutes to arrive—just chicken tenders and a steak for three people. While delays can happen if a kitchen is busy, that clearly wasn’t the case. We also had to ask multiple staff members for straws after waiting more than 30 minutes, and our drinks were never refilled.

Good food and service

We came here for the second time, in the middle of the day. In a huge dining room there were maybe 3–4 tables occupied. No one was at the host stand. We waited for about 10 minutes, then had to go look for a host ourselves. We found her in the kitchen, chatting with other employees. She returned to her station a few minutes later, reluctantly, and told us we needed to wait another 10 minutes because she was going to clean two tables. Seriously? The restaurant was almost empty, and no one else was waiting!
We were shocked and extremely disappointed. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant nearby. I sincerely hope the management pays attention to this review — such unprofessional and lazy behavior is exactly why a place loses customers. Total waste of time. I will not be coming back.

this is absolutely the worst service i have ever experienced. Me and my party called ahead around 8:45 to ask if they would seat a roughly big party, they said yes so we get seated at 8:54 they didnt take our order till 30 minutes later then we ordered around 9:15 we then get croissants,salads,and spinach dip.i notice the the time is crawling to 10(their closing time) they wait till 10:17 to tell me they cant make my steak because the kitchen is closed after i have already paid on the kiosk ahead of time, my friend got her steak which was basically raw. i waited a whole 2 hours just for a salad a couple croissants,asked for a refund then they took ANOTHER 20 minutes to get that so i got up and left,my friend told me they brought the steak out 30 minutes after closing and 10 minutes after i left.

Cheddars review

Our family loves ordering the chicken tenders family meal for takeout as the portions are phenomenal and the prices are reasonable.

The juicy tenders covered in the flaky-crunch of the batter pair perfectly with any of their side dish offerings. Personal favorite side dish is the broccoli rice casserole! The service is always phenomenal no matter how busy they are and the staff is attentive and friendly. We have ordered at high-volume times as well as the “in-between” times (3pm weekend) and notice that they are properly staffed each time, which seems to be a rarity these days. We almost always order take out and despite a bit of a commute, the food keeps well as it is packaged very well, and is always delicious when we get home! I recommend their honey mustard for dipping and please don’t leave without ordering their honey butter croissants (which hold up surprisingly well the next day)!

Atmosphere is great (even during busy times) and the restaurant has been very clean each visit!
