This place is a hidden gem. It is an old home but the staff are professional and the chefs are top notch. My son had his Valentine's vocal performance here with his coach and a group of other singers. We were greeted with a friendly smile and delicious tasting soul food buffet. This represents what GREENVILLE truly is- friendly smiling faces and food that feeds your soul. They did such a great job at accommodating my son's group and it really made for an enjoyable evening. The decor was suited for Valentine's Day and the mood and lighting was on key. I never knew about this place until we were invited here to perform. We will definitely be back as this is the coach's go to spot... I believe we will be back for Easter performances. I was really impressed. Give it a try- great for large groups and super close to all- location! Location! Location!!

The chicken and sides were ok. The greens were great. Strangely most every leafy side had chicken in it, bones and all (little bones) It seems as if the leftovers are used to season the sides? Thought the desserts were going to be awesome...they were not. Cake had not just fallen, it appeared to have broken apart and been woefully slapped back together before icing. The banana pudding looked as if it belonged on a Chinese buffet. This is not the place where you want to waste your money.

I bought a deal an Groupon for a dinner at this restaurant. I was told when I purchased the deal that I needed to call and make a reservation in order to use the coupon. I tried calling the restaurant 20 times throughout that afternoon (not exaggerating, I can show you the call log) and no one answered. I couldn't leave a message because the voicemail was full. I left a message on Facebook messenger over a week ago now, and no answer. I stopped by the location that night, and no one was there, I knocked on the door and no answer. I honestly believe this restaurant closed down, but I can't tell because I can't get ahold of anyone. I feel ripped off because they were advertising a good deal, I bought it, and now there's no way to redeem it. I will be willing to change this one star review once I can speak with someone from the restaurant.

Great food. Service was top notch. Former Grand home makes a fine restaurant.

Owner was lovely! So friendly and attentive. The pork tenderloin was amazing! Very quiet and romantic atmosphere.

The place is in total disrepair. The food was mediocre at best. The service was good, but we were the only table at 6:30 on a Friday, so I can't really count that. My girlfriend ordered the chicken breast which was overcooked, I ordered the shrimp jambalaya and the rice that was served with it was severely overcooked, the vegetables on the side they said were sauteed but they tasted more like steamed - no flavor. The shrimp were not peeled and one was not cleaned well at all as I crunched down on what I assume was sand. We had a Groupon, which made it marginally better, but at the price per plate ($25) I simply can't recommend this place.

My wife and I visited some time ago but it seems not much has changed. We were greeted with shocked expressions even though we had called first. Chef Manigault (RIP) was completely rude and condescending though we were the only customers there. Our food was mostly leftovers or out of cans. The floor was filthy and the whole building smelled of mothballs. I pass by several times a month and can only shake my head and laugh.

I guess our first clue should have been we where the only ones in the place. From no beverage list to ice cold stuffed mushrooms and a peel and eat shrimp jambalaya. To a bill that you would get at a much finer restaurant. A dinning experience not worth your time nor your money.

Chef Manigault has become my Second Favorite restaurant. They may not have a lot of items that would "Entice" yet the quality of the food is Bar None. This is our first time here & haven't had the opportunity to try the buffet on Sunday. My Bride decided to have a salad, vegetable soup & fried chicken. KFC prides themselves on having the best fried chicken. Well, Chef Manigault's chicken blows KFC out of the water!!!! I have NEVER had breast of chicken as juicy & tender as the one my wife had tonight. Although KFC has good fried chicken, Chef Manigault is superior. I decided to have the Shrimp Jambalaya. Wow!!! It was absolutely delicious!!! The white rice mixed with green peppers, onions, tomato sauce & shrimp was phenomenal. We will Most Definitely come back. This was a wonderful dining experience. Thank You Mrs. Manigault.
