I looked at the low ratings. Seems, this restaurant overbooks their reservations. It’s not ok to say your reservations are for 7:30 and you are finally seated at 8:40. I’m disabled and can’t stand for long periods of time, but since there were no benches where people can wait, I had to go back to the car to ease the back pain.I assume this happens during the holidays and weekends. If you can’t seat the patrons who are waiting for over an hour at least invest in buzzers if not benches so they don’t wait inside and add to the noise and packed interior. The young gentleman server was topnotch but I didn’t hear his name because of the noise.

Not a very good experience. We called in to book a reservation and was told we’d be seated in 30 to 40 minutes. We were told that we would receive a text when the table was ready. We were 20 minutes away so it was understood that we’d wait roughly 20 minutes to be seated. We arrived, checked in and waited outside for 40 minutes before I went back inside to ask about the wait and reconfirm the name on our reservation. I was assured that our table was coming available next. We came inside and sat by the corner of the bar as to not block the front door while we continued to wait. I watched as multiple parties walked in, were informed of a wait and seated soon after. I just decided that it was best that we place our order at the bar because it was clear we wouldn’t be getting a table. I spoke with the hostess about it and she did apologize for the mistake. Management came by to apologize and offered us a drink on the house which was appreciated. The bartender was very pleasant so that helped. The atmosphere was nice and everything was clean. Food was prepared well and served in timely manner. We each ordered the ny strip steak, we shared the broccolini and potatoes and each ordered a mixed drink. Including the tip I believe I payed about $220. The experience wasn’t the best but I haven’t written them off 100%. We won’t be racing to get back there but maybe one day we’ll try again.

I was excited to try this as I have seen their sign on the highway traveling back and forth to Atlanta from Charlotte over the years, and stopped to try it recently placing a to go order. While the food I was provided was good, it wasn't what I ordered. It was also super jam packed in the entrance area. I am happy that they are doing well, but it was difficult to move about the space or to speak with someone to find out where to go or how to pick up the order. The steak was amazing, and I would likely go back, but I was a little disappointed with the experience as a whole.

A little disappointed in the service last night. I had a party of 7 for my employees for Christmas. We were at the large table by the door with crowds standing around us waiting on tables. Service was very slow. We had just ordered a desert to go after being there 2 1/2 hours and the waiter twice let me know they were waiting for the table and rushed me along with the check. He was very kind, but I didn’t agree with rushing us out when we had just barely finished our meals. I eat in fancy restaurants with large groups all the time for work and I’ve never been there under 3 hours considering the length of time if takes to get drunk orders, appetizer orders, food orders, and desert orders with sometimes long delays in between. I won’t attempt a large party there again. I thought it was extremely rude considering it was a $1000 meal.

This is one of the best steakhouses I've ever been in anywhere... Forget all others around Greenville. This is the one. Here's the tomahawk steak Thanksgiving special.

My husband and I were extremely excited to try Chophouse 47, as everyone we know has spoken extremely highly of the restaurant. We are in the process of moving to Greenville and are currently residing in a hotel so we needed somewhere to eat on Thanksgiving - we made 6:45pm reservations, expecting it to be busy.

We checked in at 6:30pm and were informed that we would be seated when our table was ready. No communication on they were running behind. We were finally called at 7:15pm. We were brought to our table where we sat until 7:33pm watching servers go to all the tables around us, but skip ours. Finally a blonde woman came up and asks us for our drink order, informing us Stan would be with us shortly. She leaves and we watch her to proceed to walk around the restaurant for another 10 minutes before we get our drinks which, by the way, was just Coke. We finally get our server around 7:50pm, but it wasn’t Stan … who knows what happened to him? We ordered our food, which came out promptly - Cesar salad, onion rings, Scottish salmon, center cut filet, and a baked potato. I’m embarrassed to say at a high dollar restaurant, it is clear they microwave some of their dishes to reheat them. Our baked potato was cold, however the plate was scorching hot. The salmon and steak were both good, however the steak had not been allowed to rest adequately which resulted in blood being all over the plate - this is not something I would expect spending $70 on a dish.

Our server was the saving grace of the night, I couldn’t quite hear his name when he introduced himself. He shared he moved from California, and has only been working at Chophouse for several months. He was the only part of the experience that felt high end - very personable, professional, and attentive.

Regrettably, we have no plans to return to Chophouse 47.

Made a reservation at 5:30. Was asked to stand in the lobby and wait till 5:50 before being seated. Sat by ourselves till 6:10 before a waiter finally talked to us. Ordered as soon as he first came at 6:10, we didn’t get our food till 7:17. I shit you not. Almost 2 hours since the time of our reservation and over an hour since we first ordered. At a place that charges $60 for a 8 oz fillet that was the quality of a $35 fillet AT BEST. All this and not a visit from the manager, not a comped drink or dessert or anything. Genuinely awful dining experience, do not go here, go to the Whataburger around the corner and save $140 for the same quality food with much better service. Oh, and we waited another 25 minutes for the guy to bring the check

Never disappoints. Bone in Ribeye is perfection. Praline sweet potatoes were heavenly. Service always exceptional. Ambiance also perfect in every way.

We were seated immediately on schedule to our reservation time. The ambiance was nice. A bit on the dark side but still enough light to see the menu and find your seat. while walking to our table, the food looked and smelled great from other tables. Unfortunately, we did not get an opportunity to eat because my date became sick. The staff was very attentive and offered assistance. Thank you for your understanding and attentiveness. I would come back again.
