I've eaten here 3 times. Today was the first time inside. It is a great place for larger gatherings. I have always loved the food until today. We both had Cuban sandwiches, and both of them were very burnt on the bottoms. I will be back though.

The food here is delicious. From my entry to when I walked out the door was an experience I did not expect. The sandwiches were well made, , I shared the eastside, the Ruben, Havana syndrome and Bella patties. I couldn't pick one, and the sandwiches can take two meals to complete. They have a variety of sides far beyond the typical fries, coleslaw, They offer mac and cheese, fried tomatoes, okra, and pickles which tantalize your palate. The cupcakes were amazing and the cake, crust, and frosting were delectable. Yummy. Last the owner…. She was beautiful inside and out. She made my experience extremely pleasant in more ways than she knows, or maybe she does (?). I am over the moon happy with my visit. Keep up the great food and atmosphere.

Worth the drive, worth the wait! It took a bit to get our food during lunch but if you have a hankerin' for delicious deli meats, fresh bread and anything in between, this is your place! I had the RBC (Roast Beef Cheddar) sandwich, hubby had the BLT on sourdough. Best deli sandwiches we've ever had. Yeah, it was that good!
Parking: Located in the Overbrook District. We pulled right into a parking spot.

Clayton's is an absolute hidden gem and everyone should RUN to get the best sandwiches in Greenville here. I had a Reuben that was melt in your mouth delicious, the chips were crisped to perfection, and the fries are things of your dreams! My husband ordered the Philly and was equally impressed with the softness of the hoagie roll and incredible quality of meat and cheese. To top it all off, the service here is incredible. Genuinely kind and warmly welcomes anyone who walks through the door. We finished the evening with some incredible desserts! My only regret is that we didn't find this place sooner, but it is certainly going to become a staple location! Thank you, Clayton's deli!

Attention to detail with the food is top notch. You can taste individual herbs within a burger, meaning they use only the freshest cut ingredients. The menu itself is extensive and very good too
First time visit and it was delicious! I had the Mother Clucker, buffalo style, with Cajun fries - amazing. My friend got the Palmetto Burger with regular fries. The service was efficient and friendly, the food was piping hot, fresh, homemade, and delicious. Everything had so much flavor and was so good. Highly recommend.

My husband and I found this place on Google and it was one of the best finds ever! We were greeted by some of the kindest, friendliest people. The food was amazing! I would rate that pizza 10/10. Had to try something sweet and wasn't a bit surprised it was amazing too. If you want a nice environment, kind workers and owners and excellent food then this place is a must! We will definitely be back.
We got the palmetto burger and a cheese pizza. The burger is phenomenal juicy and cheesy the way a burger should be. Some of the best fries I have ate as well. The taste and the crunch of the pizza is amazing also. My wife got the cheese pizza but I took a bite and it was excellent. We also tried a cupcake and brownie. Excellent as well.

My husband and I discovered Clayton’s Deli a few months ago and it has been a regular in our restaurant rotation since. It is in a sweet restored old building and run by a family. You can tell it is a true labor of love. Everything is handmade and just great. They do great sandwiches (my husband says it’s the best chicken salad he’s ever had although he lost some husband points for that because I make it at home ?). I tried their pizza recently (Pizza purist fans this is the same pizza) and it was amazing!! Probably some of the best pizza in Greenville right now. They have great veggie, vegan, and gluten free options too. Their gluten free pound cakes are amazing!! Sometimes we have a to wait a bit when we go but it is worth the wait and it is nice to just slow down sometimes and enjoy life! If you are in more of a hurry, to go is a great option and usually pretty quick! Love having this in our community.

Or first time here. We got a coupon in a local flyer for a buy one sandwich and two drinks, get a free sandwich. So we decided to give it a try. The website said they had a chicken sandwich with Nashville hot. No Nashville hot just hot sauce. The chicken sandwich was a good sandwich, but they pickle the brine. I don't like pickles other than that it was good tasting sandwich. My wife had the patty melt. She enjoyed it, the fries seemed home cut. They were good. They have a big variety to choose from. I think they are a little expensive. My chicken sandwich was $12 and the Patty melt was $13 plus the drinks . $20 even with the coupon.
