You can look at my history and realize that I never leave reviews and quite frankly I might end up deleting this just because I don’t like to be “that guy” but the service was terrible and they never got my smoothie right and any adjustments to anything end up adding more money and after speaking to the owner, the owner was incredibly rude, and you will notice that you never see the owner around because he hides behind his employees
The employees would make the drink that I got different every single time
It was something I was excited about as it is the only smoothie place in town. It seems like and it was a very poor experience as you can tell I tried over five or six times maybe even more to see if the experience would change, but it did not
I was mainly surprised with how rude the owner was

Visited the Old Buncombe Road location this evening 12/11/2025 - THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THR BUILDING - Maria F was working per the receipt name as server - absolutely dreadful service - zero personality and clearly hates her job - order a smoothie and bowl - small amounts given on the bowl and when asked for regular amount to fill the bowl like standard order - she said “that’s normal, you have to pay for more” I stated I just paid for a regular bowl and I paid $1.00 extra for additional coconut and barely a sprinkle. She looked at me like I had 5 heads staring back! Management - strongly encouraged to step up your qualifications on employees and bowl making amounts. Very disappointed in this visit - will not be back to the Old Buncombe location.

I am gluten-free and dairy free and I try to avoid added sugars. All of their bases are just that. They have so many different options to choose from or you can make your own, which is what I always do. Yes it’s pricey at around $13 per bowl, but it’s a treat, especially if you’re out and running errands and need a snack. Always quality at this location.

I placed a large order online before business hours to be picked up 30-45 minutes after opening. Knowing only one person was working the day before when I came in, I knew that was going to be the case again. I’ve also worked in a small local restaurant so I’m pretty forgiving. My order was not even half way done when I got there at 11:10. I told the girl it was supposed to be done 40 minutes ago. She said, “I know, I’m here by myself.” Again. I get it. But no phone call or anything to let me know what time it might be done so I could choose a different restaurant option if needed. I waited another 30 minutes for my order to be complete. Nothing was labeled like I asked when I got there and she said she was doing that. We had a smoothie with no honey because of an allergy and wasn’t marked. The girl said she couldn’t do anything about it. I asked her to remake it so I could keep it separate. My smoothies were all melted. I found out when I arrived at the gym that half the kids were off the smoothies. One had spilled in the bag, ruined the bag, got all over the bus, my shoes, my shirt, my purchase, and my bag I was carrying into the gym. My biggest issue is the girl working could have cared less that my order was 2 hours late, I was late to a game, AND I couldn’t tell if what anything was in a 23 piece order. I would never suggest going here if you need a group order, or even a to-go order. Absolutely terrible.

The açaí and other products are delicious! However, the service is just awful. This new generation of workers has no drive and it is so disappointing. I was glared at from behind the counter when walking in. No “hello” no “welcome in” no nothin!!!!! All of the locations it seems hire young, rude girls who just glare at customers, and then expect a tip? There are plenty of better options, save your money.
