Whether solo, with the fam, or out on the town with friends this is a great place stop and recharge those batteries.

The best peanut butter pie I have ever had!! I do not care for chocolate, and this pie has very little chocolate in it. I also got the chicken salad croissant with a side of fruit, which was very good.

Coffee Underground has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it a great spot to relax. The breakfast food was decent, but the real stars here are the desserts, absolutely fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, they’re the reason I’ll keep coming back. Pairing one of their sweet treats with a good cup of coffee makes for the perfect stop in downtown Greenville.
FYI - They are super busy on the weekends.

This is a downtown Greenville staple and I've had fond memories of it for years.

Long line but goes fast. The order was ready quickly and was well prepared. My wife did a build your own sandwich with egg, cheddar, and spicy sausage on a croissant. I had the classic breakfast with veggie sausage and home fried potatoes without toast. I also took an apple cider pie slice to go. Plenty of seating.

I’ve been going to coffee underground since 2017/2018 and never had anything bad from it! My favorite coffee is lady but mocha! The apple pie with icecream is the best treat to go! I added some pics I remembered the most!

This is THE coffee shop. The one they all want to be. If you are in gvl and in search of coffee, CU is the place.
Drinks are made by a legitimate professional. So many coffee shops have baristas that are just part time goofballs who are doing it to earn some change while they go to school or whatever. Every time I’ve been in here, it’s been the same barista working the La Marzocco and he kills it every time.
The food is also good, but I’ve only had breakfast options. Can’t speak too much else.
It is amazing that they are open late, serve booze, and have a theater. I came in at 8pm one night and got a high quality espresso because I felt like it. It is so hard to get that experience anywhere in this country outside of NYC.
All around, this is probably the best coffee shop I have ever been in outside of NYC.
