Visited in hopes of finding a locally owned replacement to replace Chipotles in my weekly rotation. I believe I caught them on an unusually busy night so take this review with a grain of salt. It was a 28-minute wait for my burrito bowl, they missed one of my special requests (asked for no crema). The bowl was pretty good but given the price and cannot put this place into my weekly rotation despite it being an ideal location w.r.t. where I live.

I cannot sing the praises of this place enough, I came down from NC and had to finally try this spot. All the food and drinks were enjoyed by our party. We tried the birria quesitacos, al pastor mulita, chorizo tacos and we tried some of their can beer options and mixed drink from the bar. The ladies working the kitchen are amazing, the cashier was friendly and polite, and the bartender knocked the drink out of the park. I will be recommending this spot to everyone.

Comal 864 is the absolute best food, bar experience, and our favorite restaurant in Greenville. Food is consistently excellent with always a couple new things to try. The drinks are amazing, especially on Wednesday nights. We always have the best time!

This location has seriously upgraded recently and that bar is a joy to sit at! Have graham, Casey or Devin make you the best damn Paloma around while enjoying both classic authentic Mexican dishes and inventive fusion dishes (hot Cheetos in my burrito anyone?). Chef Dayna runs the kitchen beautifully with new specials every week and food always coming out hot and fresh. Get takeout, spend 15 minutes at the bar or stake out a table for the whole night. This is the place to be!

I <3 Heidy’s flautas and the carne asada is my fav! Also, don’t sleep on the horchata :o
Got 2 20$ burritos one chicken one carne asada. The meat was extremely low quality almost unedible. Will not be back. Extremely disappointed

Gave Comal 864 a try and am glad I did! There are two sides to the restaurant - a walk up counter on one side, and a sit down area with table service + a small bar. We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender. They also have a surprisingly good cocktail menu that is focused on tequila + mezcal. We had the Torta with Al Pastor and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

This is the second Como 864 that I’ve tried. The quantity of salt is way more than I can handle. Next time, I will go to Chipotle. Chipotle‘s employees are disinterested compared to Comal 864, but the execution and tolerable level of salt makes it a better choice for me. Yes, I am sensitive to salt.
