Community Canteen

I want to support local businesses but sadly this is one I don't plan to return to. Food and service here were mediocre.

The food was generally bland and needed salt at a minimum. One party member asked for water twice, which was never brought out. Also ordered a beer and a cider during happy hour and didn't receive the happy hour price.

Food was brought out as it was ready, which meant I finished my entire dinner while it was hot before anyone else received their dinner.

Ramen was made using coconut curry that was not advertised on the menu. One of our party members also happens to be allergic to coconut but fortunately he didn't order the ramen.

The Singaporean noodles, spicy tuna roll, and tempura ice cream were the only items we ordered that we actually liked. Just note the spicy tuna roll has red pepper flakes sprinkled on the outside.

Parking: Limited number of spots in front of the restaurant. More parking across the street but have to cross a busy road.

This was our first visit. The food was delicious and the service was good as well. I had the firecracker roll and my husband had the schnitzel. Try the pretzal YUM!!

The drunken fish roll was absolutely delicious! Very cool (two continents) concept and it’s executed beautifully. Awesome food, people and atmosphere, highly recommend!

This is really a hidden gem 💎
The sushi 🍣 rolls are great! We can recommend the drunken fish and the rainbow 🌈 roll, and the Chicken Ramen if you like a little spice 😋 We had the miso and gyoza soup, both super yummy, hot and fresh.
For dessert tempura cake and Tiramisu!
Next time we will try their European menu too!
You can also sit outside if you want to enjoy the sun or bring your doggy 🐕 😉 We will be back!

Mouth-watering authentic German dishes at reasonable prices. A great selection of fresh beers, wonderful staff, and a taste of German Gemütlichkeit! This is an excellent place for lunch, after-work drinks, or a family dinner.

This restaurant has great food and a fun atmosphere. I've tasted both the sushi and items from the European menu and it's all been amazing. I highly recommend the Schnitzel!

We have eaten here several times now. This has become our favorite sushi in Greenville. We have loved getting to know Calvin, our favorite server. The sushi is fresh and delicious. We haven’t had the German options, but they look great, too. We plan to come back often.

Very good food and drinks. The service was great and very helpful.

Excellent concept - not fusion. There is a separate pan-Asian menu and German menu. We tried items off both and everything that hit the table was wonderful.
