The parking lot and entrance/exit of the Greenville, SC location is TERRIBLE and so poorly planned you'd think it was done by a brainless blob of gelatin. The customer service here is non-existent and the check out lines are absolutely maddening. If I didn't know better I would think the employees here get paid to intentionally *&^% off the customers and drive them away. But Costco is supposed to be so great and care so much about their customers? I don't see that at all. The main reason I even purchased my membership was because of the mask policy, which now makes no sense. They now have a sign that says if you are fully vaccinated, you no longer have to wear a mask. Oh really? After a year and a half of us being told the masks are for everybody else's protection, and after numerous reports of people getting AND SPREADING covid AFTER being fully vaccinated, NOW they're letting people go maskless? After numerous instances (often on video) of Costco employees acting like militant thugs to customers (including the elderly) for not wearing a mask, and suddenly it is o.k. not to? But only in four states? What kind of sense does that make? Absolutely none and this hypocrisy shows that Costco was full of *&^% from the beginning, doing nothing more than pandering for memberships, lying to customers to gain their trust and their money. None of this stuff makes any sense and Costco, who I mistakenly thought was a trailblazer, is simply following the flip-flopping CDC right off the proverbial cliff. In the words of Bugs Bunny, "What a bunch of maroons." Costco is not worth the money for the membership and not worth the hassle. They have nothing I can't get on Amazon, and without having to step foot in one of their frustration-inducing stores. I will not be renewing my membership.

I wish I could do a no star, however I have to pick one. There are multiple reason as to why I chose such a low rating. The number one reason is that I have been coming to Costco for years and have purchased Cooper & Thief Red Wine Blend and they stopped selling it, after talking with the wine Dept. They said on multiple trips that it was the carrier and not them that they are still selling it and so I kept thinking that it would come back and never have. Well, I actually put in several requests to have this item back and was told today that they are no longer selling it. After multiple trips and being told that they were still selling it and putting in requests to have it back, just to be told they quit selling it is very frustrating. Another reason is there have been multiple times where I have needed help with certain items and never could get the help I needed. I have had to leave the store several times and not having received any assistance from any staff!!!! It is horrible.

Store has everything every Costco has except the worst customer service the clerk that checked us out Maria was so rude to the elderly couple in front of us, talkin about him in Spanish (this white girl is trilingual)

I just got home from the Costco in Greenville, SC after having a nightmare experience at the checkout. The cashier and his helper person seemed to have some kind of incentive to hound me endlessly to upgrade my membership from the regular $60 membership to the Executive membership. It was horrible. By the time I finally paid and got myself out of there, I was hot, angry and literally shaking. This is the second time this has happened. Costco should NOT offer incentives for their cashiers to hound customers.

Love me some Costco. Great products, great prices, great staff, and a bulletproof return policy. Can't wait til covid is over and they go back to having samples out!

Had a friend enter the store there not wearing a mask for medical reasons. The greeter said nothing. My friend was able to get what she needed and proceeded to check out when someone finally confronted her. One of the employees blocked her from checking out. So, she left without being able to purchase anything. Costco is losing 2 sets of members now.

Lovely COSTCO and gas was an incredible $1.73/gallon on 12-19-20. Friendly, helpful employees, full CDC compliance during COVID-19 pandemic, good selection of merchandise. My son found some nice sportswear unavailable at our local COSTCO.

Costco employees always polite and friendly however today a young man was not as pleasant at the register, to much in a hurry

Maria the cashier is the rudest human being. I will never give my business again! I have always said Costco had great customer service but today not so much. She literally verbally attacked me! Never again!

Long time fan of nearly all things Costco (food court, pharmacy, liquor store, gas station, etc) but will readily admit their sample tables are one of my favorite aspects of shopping here. A visit could jokingly be deemed successful or a fail based on how many and what type of samples were offered that trip. Among the many changes and adaptations during the start of the pandemic, Costco paused their sample stations altogether. I didn't have too much hope for their return but to my and many other customers' delights they have figured out a way to make it happen! SAMPLES ARE BACK! It is a different experience than walking around the store snacking on hot, cooked food but honestly it might be even better in my opinion. Their samples are now all individual servings of pre-packaged, sealed container items. One recent trip I walked out with fruit snacks, a chocolate filled crepe, crunchy sesame rolls, and a granola bar. Because they give you a packaged item it's typically a whole serving versus just one bite or cut up piece. One huge stipulation is that the sample servers very kindly ask that you don't open the product while you are still shopping in the warehouse! This is totally understandable considering that Costco is currently requiring their customers to wear face coverings in the store. It's tempting to want to try what they're offering as soon as you get it but hopefully people will keep things in their purse or pocket until they leave so that the sample stations will stick around!

My husband and I love Costco. There is always something new and interesting offered. We have many, many items that came from Costco. We shopped at Costco in CA in the 1990’s and were absolutely delighted when we found out they were coming to Greenville. The manager there runs a tip-top organization. Don’t know where we’d be without Costco. Thank you so very much for setting the stage for many retailers by being the first to require masks. We are happy to oblige!

I love me some Costco...but you shoppers need training. Get across the way in the parking lot (diagnoal lines are not the shortest route.) There is 0 reasons to turn your buggy sideways or abandon it while you go look for grapes in a main path. I will t-bone or remove it . That being said. Best veggies, seafood, meat (beef, pork, chicken, & salmon,) mixed nuts, all of it...Did I mention probably in top 5 for lowest gas prices?? I will see you next month---just not on a Blue Weekend when Social Security hits....
