Our first visit as we are new to the area. It was my husband's Birthday and I was looking forward to special treatment. We were greeted by the hostess who celebrated my husband when we arrived. The waitress had no idea it was his BDay when I told her late in the dinner. The food, chicken piccata and chicken Parmesan was excellent. The restaurant was busy and appeared to be shorthanded like most restaurants but here you expect more due to the prices. I had the bread pudding and it was to die for. My husband had NY cheesecake which was not his favorite. The BD celebration was not special but I will be back for the food. If you want special treatment, go to Stella's in Simpsonville. Dinner and atmosphere simply amazing.

It has been a while since we have had dinner here, and once again Davani's was amazing. Our appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and escargot en croute were delectable. The pan seared red snapper special was amazing, with a light crust and a champagne and caviar sauce. Our waiter patiently repeated the specials as we tried to decide, placed and removed plates and additional silverware professionally, and kept our glasses full without being flagged down. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant, with old standards being played in a new way. Again I highly recommend Davani's for dinner. Oh and the bread pudding for dessert!

What sets this above other restaurants in my mind is that the music matches the atmosphere. And there are real candles on the table. Also, every time we've been here, the service has been great and classy and the food is wonderful.

Best hidden gem on Augusta Rd. I've lived here for 40+ years, and just discovered Divani's 2 years ago! Hands down, best Italian I've had in years!

Davanis has a wonderful ambience that makes you feel warm and welcomed. Rocky and Stephanie are always there and work around the room making sure their customers are happy. Great food as well.

The food was very disappointing for how pricey this restaurant is. The red sauce served with the linguini and red sauce tasted right out of the can, the portion was very small. The pasta in the shrimp and scallops was watery with no flavor whatsoever. The shrimp and the scallops were tasty but I've never had flavorless watery pasta. The bread was excellent. The button mushroom appetizer with beef had good flavor but served in large dry ugly mushrooms caps. A very unappetizing presentation. The service was excellent. Loved the ambiance. I'm hoping this was just an off night since this restaurant had 1750 reviews with a five star rating.

Don't miss this gem! I was on a business trip with my client and she was craving Italian and we found this fantastic restaurant on a search! Tucked in a shopping center, this restaurant doesn't disappoint. From the gorgeous entrance, to the attentive staff, fabulous wine, hot bread and sumptuous dinner entrees made for the perfect evening. It's like eating in an old world library...small, quiet and a great experience. If I'm ever in the area, I will come back!

Fantastic Surprise. We travelled to Greenville/Simpsonville to visit our son and treat him to dinner. Preferred Italian. Randomly selected Davani's from Open Table. None of us were familiar and decided to try it. We will be back. All three were pleased with our meal. Alfredo, Pasta/Marinara, and Canelloni's. We also shared a bottle of wine recommeded bour our waiter, enjoyed this too. Friendly, attentive staff. Ambiance. Quiet enough to hold a conversation. Food was delicious.

Pleasant atmosphere and good food. Only miss: caprese salad should be with ripe tomatoes and soft fresh mozzarella, a little bit of evoo and balsamic vinegar plus basil leaves. This version used unripe tasteless tomatoes and hard, commercially produced block type mozzarella and no basil at all. It arrives completely covered with a lot of balsamic vinaigrette ( to cover up the fact that the tomatoes weren't ripe? ) And a pretty design in the dressing. Presentation: 7 Flavor: 2 That said , the rest of the meal was delicious and fresh.

Apps were amazing we got the meatballs the stuffed mushrooms and the clams, I got the veal chop and it was supposed to be medium but came out pretty rare. I asked to have it cooked a little longer and it came back medium well. My Girlfriend got the spicy pasta it is very spicy and we both like spicy but it's on the very spicy side. Overall it was a great environment but the service was terrible even had to ask for more water

I think they took a chance and missed in my opinion. I didn't know we would be limited to their 4 course meal special. We wouldn't have mind if it was steered more towards Italian dishes. That's what this resturant is known for but they went a different route. The ravioli starter I got was rubbery and tasted more cooked ahead of time and waited out for awhile. It was rubbery. The salads were good The entrees was a typical bistro chicken and steak and potatoes dishes were huge misses. Chicken tasted like it was cooked ahead of time, tough and rubbery. The steak was decently textured though. Both were oversalted and overseasoned which was all I could taste and overwhelmed the sauces it had on both. They needed to stick to staple itallian dishes where they know they're consistent and highlight their perfections. We should have had that option as well. Service was great but the management and chefs missed hard on what they were trying to do. Was not worth 95 dollars a piece.
