Awesome place to eat, great home cooked food, great portions ( they pile the food up on the plates ) . The price is very reasonable also. Awesome service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Definitely a great place to enjoy a great breakfast with friends and family. Good food. Very clean. Friendly service and they always remember your face. Highly recommend any items on the menu. You can't go wrong. The only way that will go wrong is by missing out. My family enjoys themselves.

What I got, at 2:30 on a Friday, delivered, was amazing.
To get it out of the way, Mac and collards crave more s&p, added some extra and it was delicious.

What I got ranked most to least favorite excluding above:
1. Baked dark meat chicken- conflicted to say it, but better than my grandmama’s, may she rest in peace. Melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, shoot even my cat was rabid for it.
2. Fried okra - perfect. No discussion.
3. Boneless fried chicken - beautiful flavor but a bit dry. Gravy works well for it
4. CFS - decent but not the best I’ve had. Brown gravy was alright but not perfect.
(Distant) 5. cornbread- dry af, but would probably be best with white gravy.

Sweet tea was exactly what it needs to be as well.
Overall if I had a heart attack from it I would still order here again.

The staff was very helpful. The food wonderful and plentiful. The prices great.Today was my first visit. Will tell all my friends. Plan to return when chicken n dumplings are on the menu.

Dave's is a unique place to gather. Food is really good. Cafeteria style. Very eclectic atmosphere. Staff is fantastic. And, they help feed the homeless.
