Ordered a sandwich tray on Thursday before week that it was needed. Get a call back to confirm order and pickup time. I get there at 12:45, order should have been ready at 12. They hadn’t even started the tray so had to wait 35 minutes for it to be made. Manager is there to collect a paycheck because the excuse was she had call ins and the orders were not reviewed so no one knew. Ok you are a manager 3 call ins or 10 it is your job to review your business to respect people’s time considering she wouldn’t even discount the tray at all. Terrible customer service and the tray was not even neatly done.

It's a nest place to visit once. Reasonable pricing. Menu is pretty basic, and so is the food. While there was nothing wrong with it, there's also little to bring you back. It reminds me of going to a friend's house and getting fed by his mom when i was young. I got a sandwich, I ate it, there really isn't anything beyond that to remark on be it good or bad. The staff was quite pleasant and atmosphere was nice.

Just a laid-back sandwich joint. Food and service were good. Prices were good. My favorite was pasta salad.

Love the ham pepper and onion sandwiches.
They need more peppers and onions. But still good. Egg salad and pimento cheese are really. Good too

Duke Sandwiches are a piece of nostalgia wrapped in paper. I got an egg sandwich on white bread and it tasted just like Mom used to make.

Got there 30 minutes before closing & the counter lady was very polite and helpful and fast! Duke sandwiches are a classic!
So disappointed. We got here at 2:05 and were told we would have to take our food to go. All 3 people there were focused on cleaning so they could leave even though they don't close till 3. All of the fridge where they keep banana pudding and pies were empty and wiped down. I was informed they were put up and in the back. The Pepsi machine was out and informed them and I was told to get something else. Without a doubt one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Our bread was burnt on one side and not done on the other. I will NEVER come to this place again.

We arrived at 2:05 pm and they close at 3;00 pm on Saturday. The dining room was closed so they told us it would have to be “to go” This was fine with us. Then the Pepsi was out and we ask if they could please change it. They told us we would have to get something else and ignored us. So then we ask for a refund on our drinks then they decided to change it after talking about us among themselves. Our ham/cheese sandwiches were grilled extra done on one side and barely toasted on the other. I have been a customer for years here but won’t come back. The store on Congree was great but sadly closed. Nobody cares to even be here that’s evident.
Good food, friendly staff.
Don't bother. You can make a better sandwich in your own kitchen. Very much overpriced for what you receive. 7.50 for a $2 sandwich.
We arrived at 2:19 and they told us that we couldn’t sit in the dining room and eat. By the way, they close at 3:00. Pure laziness.
Use to go there growing up. Deviled egg was best sandwich around. Went back recently, left Greenville 25 years ago. They are not the same quality as the old days. Deviled egg not creamy like old and has way to much pepper. Very disappointed!
