The food is excellent and the service is superb. We go there regularly and are always greeted with warmth, great atmosphere, and good food. It's a romantic sort of spot with low lights, a fireplace and just an overall cozy feel.

Drove up from Atlanta to meet family here for dinner. Checked online to make sure they were open before we came up. Parked out front. Got my 87 year old mother out of the car and up to the door. Pulled on the door and it was locked. Turns out, they've been closed Mondays because of the Covid 19 stuff. Splendid..... That's been going on since March. How hard could it possibly be to change the hours of operation on their online sites? At very least, put a sign on the door so we don't unload six people for nothing. Not impressed tonight.

Always enjoy this local restaurant. Friendly staff. Salads are delicious. Salmon is one of my favorites. The crab soup is fresh. Watch for shells. Haha. The couple times I've actually had room for dessert, they were great.

We stopped in for lunch. I was a little disappointed. The lunch was nowhere near as good as the dinner I have had here. Our waitress was polite and attentive. I don't think I will return for lunch. The Cheese sticks was frozen Cheese sticks not tasty at all. My burger was ok at best and my husband's steak was not cooked to order. He would not send it back. We didn't have time to wait. I didn't complain to our waitress because they had very few tables. So they had no excuse for lack of attention to the food. Employees did not wear gloves or masks. The restaurant needs a good cleaning. At our table there was dust on the lamp and dried steak sauce or something on the wall. I hope they fix these problems. This is one of my favorite restaurants I Cherrydale. I give 3 stars because our waitress was so attentive and kept our table clean and drinks full.

My wife and I decided to take a weeknight dinner date and we opted for Flat Rock. We were kind of concerned about the lack of diners, but chalked it up to a weeknight. The food and the service was great. The atmosphere was relaxed. Overall, we both enjoyed the experience. We'll definitely be going back.

Food was good. Server was good as well. Just when we walked in there wasn't a hostess there. We asked this young lady about it. She said said wait a second. Then the manager, well we think he was, walked up and started fussing at her and then told her where to seat our party. Later in the meal we could hear and see him "calling out" several different waitstaff telling them what to do, like right now, and then started fussing at the hostess telling her it is her job to stay at the door and not be "walking around". She had just seated a party when he started in on her.

A little worried after reading other reviews. Food was good but over priced. Be careful when it says market cost. They can charge you whatever they want. Service was slower but pleasant. Portions not worth the price.
