0/5- avoid if you have children, especially in a stroller.

Walked here on Saturday morning from the farmer’s market with my husband and 15-month old, who was obviously in a stroller. Right away we were told the stroller couldn’t be in the aisle, totally understand, keep the aisles clear for walking. The hostess brought us a highchair, and then yelled at us that the high chair couldn’t be in the aisle, but it was a 4-person table with 4 chairs, where else would it go? Instead of being rude, she should have just taken a chair away and placed the highchair at the table.

We got our baby in the highchair, and folded up our stroller and placed it where one of the chairs were at the table, not in the aisle. Me, a very petite woman took up more space at the table than the stroller did. It wasn’t in the way. The hostess came back and rudely told us we couldn’t have the stroller at the table and that she’d store it in the back for us. I personally don’t trust any establishment that doesn’t allow its patrons to keep their personal belongings with them. I told her I didn’t trust it and that the stroller wasn’t taking up any more space than I was. She shrugged us off and said she didn’t make the rules- not helpful. We ended up packing everything back up and leaving.

Now- looking at their reviews, there are several mentions of issues with strollers, or receiving poor service because the customer had children. Nothing left to conclude but that this establishment is not child friendly, nor wants children in their restaurant.

Avoid yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Came in Sunday morning. They were packed but the service never really reflected that. Food was a little slow coming out but, again, they were very busy. The chicken and waffles were on point! And those grits are to die for! Hope to come back one day!

My family and I visited The flying Biscuit. Immediately super warm energy when you walk in. The menu had many great options in my opinion versus a traditional breakfast menu you usually see. The chicken and waffles was absolutely amazing, and my son truly enjoyed the French toast breakfast. The service was great, very prompt and welcoming.

The food is good. I will not be returning though. They threw away my boxed food while I was in the restroom. Refused to replace my food or give me a refund. The hostess was rude and told me she threw my food away.
