They were closed for renovations! We had made a reservation for a large group and showed up to find they were closed

The food was the best! The prime rib and the vegetable were cooked to perfection and the meat was carved with precision. The vegetables were superb & selection was fantastic. The shrimp cocktail is so good, you could be happy with that plus a salad. The desserts were the best!

Buffet was excellent! I am told the restaurant will shut tomorrow for remodeling. The new atmosphere will make a good addition.

This is a great place for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Two things they don't have is live music ie. guitarist and a large bread selection. biscuits, bagels, rolls, but no banana bread, wheat bread, crackers and cheese or different bagels other than plane. That would be the difference between under $50.00 a head and over $60.00 a head. For being under $50 a head, what they have is great Between the two seatings in 2024, there were less people signed up for Christmas than Thanksgiving. It was almost elbow to elbow to walk around at that seating.

My family always loves to have our holiday dinners at Roost. The service is always the best.

Wanted to acknowledge our server Nathan. Very attentive-professional. He had to share table after table the amount of food items they were out of on Christmas Eve due to renovations scheduled. Observed Nathan being attentive to each patron consistently. Made great suggestions, food was very good across the table.

Wasn't the best experience at Roost. Food was not hot or even warm and service wasn't that great. Staff was not around to take order and get bill in timely manner.

Bryant was our server and he was fabulous! The ny strip was to die for! The sauce compliments it so well. The Gouda Mac and cheese is a MUST!! My boyfriend got the duck and it was so tender you'd never even know it was duck! It came with the fried balls (not sure what it was) but it's heaven in your mouth! I can't recall the last time I've had a meal this perfect. Most definitely will be back!!

The duck was delicious. I had a great Old Fashioned from the bar too. My water glass was always full

Very nice venue with views of downtown and open space in front of the restaurant where live music was being performed (Friday night). Sadly our food was underwhelming. Yard bird was “meh”, salmon didn't smell fresh, ribs were good and cheesecake was average (presentation was nice). Maybe a better venue for happy hour cocktails?

Roost is delicious! I've had the filet there twice and both times it was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Beer and wine selection is good and there is something for everyone on the menu.

Nice Sunday brunch outdoors. Attentive staff. Food was acceptable but not creatively prepared. Prompt in serving custom omelet and waffle. Would have been nice to include one glass of juice with the meal. At least a buffet allows some options for vegetarians. Will probably go on another trip to Greenville.

Food, service, ambiance were perfect. Helper serving courses rushed the meal which was aggravating. He brought out the Main Course about 5 minutes after serving Appetizers. I sen it back. Same with dessert.

It was an amazing experience. We went Sunday morning. The Buffett was amazing. I wish it would have said on the website that they don't start serving bottomless mimosas or any drinks like that till 10 am. Our server was very nice but seemed like he did not want to be there.

Have been before and really liked it. This time was a miss. Booked a 7:15 reservation, got there and they had given our table to a walk in guest they had no more tables so we opted for the bar high top with our 5 year old. Service from the bar was slow, the garlic aioli was packed of raw garlic and so spicy it wasn't enjoyable, the smoked ribs came with cold Brussel sprouts and cold mac and cheese I guess they were waiting for my yard bird which had a horrible gravy on top and the goat cheese is just not for this dish, just because you put goat cheese on it doesn't automatically elevate it. Plus nothing looked like the pictures from previous visits. As GR would say what a shame .
