The food was so good I forgot to even take a picture of it. Excellent service. It's the best Italian restaurant I have been to in SC. It's small and gets packed quickly, so make sure to come early to taste magic.

Outstanding old school Italian cuisine. Reminded me of resteraunts in old Italian neighborhoods back in Chicago. I know that this is a Greenville institution, and so glad I finally got to experience it.One caveat it is tiny and first come first serve. If you are okay eating later it is easier to get in after 7:00 on the weekends than earlier

Hole-in-the-wall place, but very intimate. It's really good for a romantic dinner. We've been a couple of times, and both times, the food was delicious. It's easy to forget that this place exists because it's not super noticeable. The gnocchi was so good...pillowy bites with a delicious sauce.

I am from Stone mt ga, i drove 85 miles to come here, my second time. Is a small but very cozy place. Try the lobster Ravioli ,is to die for. The bread soft crispie. Gabriel the owner is super attentive. His son as well. Mica the weiter super sweet. Coming back for my wedding anniversary in May. See u guys soon.

took take out because there was a long wait for a table. was disappointed by the hype veal parmesan was mushy and VERY salty. Lobster raviolis were just ok. nothing to rave about as far an Italian food. They have got to reduce the amount of salt.

Amazing Italian food! Not exaggerating to say my husband sat dazed after his first bite of the Hot Sausage Ziti. Very clean and romantic (candlelight! Tablecloths!) restaurant with nice staff. Dress up a bit.

Stopped in on Saturday night at 6:15, and there was a 1.5-2 hour wait. They do not take reservations, but had a hand written list of people waiting. I didn’t have time to wait to eat there, but it all smelled good, and the atmosphere was very nice. Will try it another time. Owners may want wish to explore a more modern way of seating people, such as reservations with a third-party service, such as OpenTable or something. Their guests will be more satisfied with the reservation experience. Don’t shy away from this restaurant because of the brightly lit, open-late, “Lucky Massage” place next-door.

I'm surprised at how good most of these reviews are. We waited for a table and the space was quaint but the food we left behind. The salad was iceberg lettuce and subpar dressing...the bolognese was super salty and we simply paid and left. Service was good and I had high hopes but wouldn't come back.

Giovanni’s is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. I’ve never enjoyed a restaurant more. It is a very quaint restaurant with few tables and they do not take reservations so you have to take this into consideration but I tell everyone the wait is absolutely worth it. The owner, Gabriel, serves tables and talks with guests and is fantastic to talk with and hear his story. The food is spectacular. You can tell everything is freshly made with quality ingredients. Every dish we have had here has been incredible and the wine is delicious. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more, you must visit!
