This spot has potential if they make a few tweaks. They currently have you to complete a menu order sheet prior to approaching the counter, which is fine. The lady behind the counter talks really low and the music is very very loud behind her so that's a issue. She also just looks like she doesn't want to be there. My food was hit and miss. Sweet potato cobbler was good. The mac and cheese was way overcooked.....noodles were soft and mushy. Always gotta undercook those...
The location was questionable. Once in you were greeted with a friendly voice. Staff was great. I like the way you pick your food. The food is awesome. Great classic tastes. I will definitely be back. Please don't judge this book by the outside appearances. I think you won't be let down.
Absolutely the best country cooking I've had in a long time! Short menu to make it easier to choose. The peach cobbler was about the best I've ever had!!! Will definitely be back!
