There are many options for lunch and/or sandwiches/burgers in downtown Greenville and while staying there I wanted to make sure I picked a winner and I chose this one based on the reviews. Coming in, there were many tables available, so I just sat at a hi-top community table, since I was alone. The young lady taking care of me was very friendly and did a nice job giving me her feelings about the menu. I opted for one of the subs she liked, the STP Dipper. I asked for their pasta salad as a side.
It was made pretty quickly and delivered to the table and looked pretty good. Unfortunately, it came with their potato salad instead of the pasta salad I asked for. I say “unfortunately” because they make a sweeter version and I think it might have pickles. So, I tried it – Didn’t like it. So, when she came around to check on me I pointed out to her that I got potato salad and she quickly apologized and went and got me a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was a little odd, it was sweet too, but had some interesting ingredients. I tried a few bites, but wasn’t a fan.
As for the sub – it was pretty good! The sauce they give with it, the Formula 45 was also on the sweet side, but the description seemed to make me think of fast food special sauce (A.K.A. Big Mac sauce) and this definitely was not that, it was much better. It works pretty nicely with this sub’s ingredients and I really liked the bread and the pop of bacon bits on it really brought it together nicely.
Overall, I would most definitely return and wished there was a location closer to me so I could try more of the menu, as I feel I missed out on other options that might have been better. I’m VERY disappointed in their horrible sides, as least the two I tried. I feel they could improve there. Service was very nice and made up for the poor sides.

Went in today for lunch since I was downtown. This was my first time and my wife recommended the STP Dipper. It was pretty good but that Formula 45 sauce made it so much better. Service was great and the food is reasonably priced.

Had the Supreme Dipper. Great sandwich that comes with a dipping sauce. Turkey and Roast Beef with melted provolone cheese. Also had the legendary club.
Came in on a Sunday and was able to grab a table right away. The service was great. The sandwich was good. I remember this deli from Columbia SC. It was nice seeing one in the upstate. I would recommend giving them a try. It's worth it.

I ordered the baby Bella salad and a potato salad. The potato salad was by far the worst invention of the version of that dish I've ever had. Do not eat the potato salad if you desire a good potato salad. If you want to try somebody's invention that has no taste at all, then go ahead and experiment for yourself. The greens in the salad were fresh in the Italian dressing was good. The best part was the waitress who didn't mind staying a few minutes after they closed to make sure I finished my meal and brought me one more refill for my drink and some extra crackers for the salad. I wish I knew her name because she made the experience better than the food did. I'd go back to try something else and to bring them a sample of real potato salad.
