We love supporting our local food scene. Gather has a really cool atmosphere and I’m sure there are some phenomenal food experiences to be had here. Unfortunately, Hendough/KO Burger fell short. We ordered to-go a double bacon cheeseburger & loaded fries and a Cobb Salad. The nearly aroma-free ride home should have thrown up some red flags. But we were too excited by what visually seemed to be a delicious score.Burger: Not a horrible smash burger. The meat was a little overcooked on the edges, but not inedible. Sadly, though - and this is a recurring theme - the toppings lacked flavor. I picked them off to taste them individually just to be sure. The iceberg lettuce tasted a little past its due date, the tomatoes and onions (yes, ONIONS) had almost no flavor! The pickles did have flavor, but they use sweet pickles. Not my favorite, but I was glad to be able to taste them.Cobb Salad - This thing is either criminally overpriced or undersized. It’s about half the size of a Cobb Salad from your favorite fast food joint and $4 more expensive. Again, the iceberg lettuce didn’t taste fresh. The tomatoes had little flavor. The chicken was tasteless, overcooked and dry. The tiny cups of dressing stood no chance at making a difference.Loaded Fries: I can forgive soggy fries when they’re smothered in cheese, chives, jalapeños and bacon. I cannot forgive whatever bland orange goop they tried to pass off as cheese sauce. Neutral flavored chives. The bacon was all texture, no flavor whatsoever. But the most egregious part was the jalapeños. I don’t mind if they’re pickled—most would rightfully expect hot peppers if not otherwise specified—but they should still have jalapeño flavor. Sadly, the soggy fries were the best part.Service: The cook was pleasant enough. But the cashier made it clear that either she was having a really bad day or she was just not about that Customer Service life. Each of our 3 questions—it was our 1st time there—was greeted with an unhealthy amount of annoyance. In summary, this experience felt like we lost our taste and smell. I don’t understand why, or HOW, everything was devoid of flavor. Adding things like onions, chives, and peppers should make flavors bolder. But this place manages to achieve exactly the opposite. Maybe this just wasn’t their best day? Either way, we won’t be returning soon.

I usually enjoy the food. The past couple times the doughnuts have been crispy from being doubled fried which is but not in Rancid Oil. Same w the rest of the fried foods. CLEAN your oil out. Now since this has happened a couple times not sure I want to even go back. Too expensive to throw food in trash.

First time experience with this eatery. I love donuts and I am always looking for a great donut when I travel. I ordered a glazed and a chocolate donut along with a spicy chicken biscuit. Donuts were very fresh and generous in size. There was a lot of donut but not much "sweet". They could have used more chocolate or glaze given the size of the donut. I prefer filled donuts but they didn't have any other than Bavarian/Boston Cream which I don't care for. Even some filling in the donut hole would have been good. It looked like they had great cinnamon rolls when I picked up my order which I didn't see on the online menu when I ordered. The spicy chicken biscuit was very good. The biscuit was one of the best I've ever had. Again, generous in size. I liked the batter on the chicken which was like batter used for fish and chips meal. Again, the biscuit and chicken was generous in size which made it difficult to eat but I managed. :-) Next time I am in Greenville SC I will return to try a chicken sandwich and/or a biscuit with gravy for sure.

The Doughnut French Toast was pretty good! Service was not the best. I don't know if she was having a bad day or something, but the lady in the Five Nights at Freddy's shirt was rude. It was a strange feeling to get a sweet treat made with hate.

Food was terrible. Got the Maple Chicken Biscuit. The chicken was dry, thin and tasted like it had been fried a couple times as it was very chewy. The bacon was hard. I tried so hard to like this sandwich but it was bland and disgusting. Change my mind HenDough!

Updated: Still Truly amazing doughnuts, and they’re chicken sandwiches are great too! Their doughnuts aren’t too sweet, but have beautiful flavors. We are huge fans.

The donut was pretty good. I assume bc I went later in the evening before closing that the donut had sat out all day so it wasn't as light or fluffy as I would've liked. Still good though

Great place to grab a chicken sandwich or burger. The donuts are a great add on to any of their meals. I always grab their fries and sauce when I’m nearby. They’re always crispy and delicious.

Meh, we are just not yet sure what the fuss is all about. Decent donut but not life altering as we have had at a variety of spots around the US. The apple crumb we tried was a bit too sweet and slightly stale. We'll likely try it again, to give it another go and see if we just sampled the off choice for our own tastebuds.

We went to HenDough for breakfast. We got some chicken biscuits; bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits; and glazed doughnuts. My friends had the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and said it tasted fresh and yummy. I had the chicken biscuit which was okay- the biscuit was dry but chicken was tasty. The doughnuts were large, soft, and yummy. This a great place for a Saturday morning outing with small children. The other restaurants were closed and they had free reign to run around and explore.

In a cute outdoor shipping container park and at 10am on a Saturday, no line, sweet staff, and AMAZING biscuits. I was so pleased and doing a little happy dance while eating. I had the Nashville hot and my partner had the gravy chicken biscuit. Got dayum, so good. It set the mood for the day.

Great outdoor space. Tried Lob Father. The lobster roll wasn't the freshest. Rubbery texture flooded with mayonnaise. Not my favorite.

I had the Brussels and the special Caesar wrap. The Brussels were crispy and tasted great. The aioli sauce that comes on them was ok and better served on the side. The Caesar wraps are small, I think I missed the word “mini’ in the description. There is definitely room to improve these bc the wraps at Wendy’s would give them a run. Be sure when you turn in the device at KO burgers, to NOT put it in the labeled bin for devices , just politely hand it to them… it really brings out their joy & happiness in serving the public!
