Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Greenville! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I love the atmosphere for someone who is neurodivergent as my self, it is like a nice little nook with soft music. Definitely a nice escape from life’s hustle and bustle. I got the Chicken bowl and steamed dumplings and my Husband got their sushi . Everything was amazing and you can really taste the quality and effort they put in their cooking. Happy to say this will be our go to spot for now on!

I’m very intuitive when it comes to picking up on energy, and unfortunately, my experience this evening left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. I stopped by dressed casually in comfortable loungewear with my hair pinned up—quite different from my usual visits after work when I’m in business attire.
The shift in how I was treated was noticeable. I felt profiled, and it was clear that the level of courtesy I had received during previous visits was absent. Because of that, I chose not to place an order.
I’ve only visited this establishment a few times, and to be honest, the food has room for improvement—for example, the rice could definitely be cooked a bit longer. But after tonight’s experience, I won’t be returning.
I’m leaving this review not out of spite, but to raise awareness. We often support their businesses—whether restaurants or nail salons—where the respect is not mutual. It’s time we recognize that, and make a more conscious effort to support businesses that truly value us, whether they’re Black-owned or white American-owned.

I rated this place with a star because they're one of the places who are not clear about gluten exposure in their food. I asked a question on an Appetizer first and said I cannot have flour or wheat or like a breaded fried whatever item as an Appetizer. Yet they don't tell you you'll get Fried rice in their meal. Fried rice could've likely been made with soy and Soy contains gluten. For a gluten intolerant person or a person sick with Celiac disease, this causes a very painful inflammatory reaction throughout their whole body. And that's what happened with me. I got the full reaction I usually get when I am accidentally exposed to Gluten. I advise you to label your menu with what has and doesn't have Gluten and go through all the ingredients you use including your sauces so that you don't expose people with health problems to things they don't want to be exposed to. Just say the truth and be ready to answer and open to answer. Please accept my friendly advice and I just hope it will help other people who have similar issues as me. The place looks good, the service not so bad, just need accurate knowledge of allergens in your food.

I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with a meal! Nice clean environment, our waitress (i think she said jessica) was outstanding. Very attentive and friendly. And the food was amazing. We ordered 3 different sushi rolls that were all great and hibachi plates. And I don't know how or why, but those were the best vegetables I've ever had. The most amazing flavor!! I feel like we found a hidden gem and nothing will compare to them now!!

Good food but terrible customer service. I went in at 2 30 and they close at 3. I ask sushi. They tell me they are closing soon. But a customer comes in after me and they give them food. They need to work on their service and social skills.

Food was not good. Rice was hard and old when I order the Strip and chicken combo they brought me my food out, but they forgot to put my chicken on there so then they attempt to go back there and throw a piece of chicken on the grill and just brought it out to me with the same plate with no type of hibachi sauce on it or anything my veggies were cooked over sautéed them. The food is not here.
Came to this restaurant after seeing suggestions on facebook. The food was amazing and the service was great. The price is reasonable as well and we got lots of food. Definitely worth checking out.

Nice small oriental restuarant tucked away in a shopping center behind the olive gdn restaurant. Really good food. Some of the best I've had & not overly priced. The food has a great taste/flavor and the wait staff is very attentive to you. Highly recommend the restuarant. Only minus is that lunch potions & prices are not available for dinner.
