I have good things to say about Home Team BBQ. All of the meat options are all excellent (and portion sizes), and their sides also are.
There was some inaccurate communication concerning our wait time, then some over-extended wait times for most of our food as well. This was all rectified without complaint from our side at all, by the front-of-house manager. He treated us right. Shout out to him, the hostesses, and to our servers.
Judging by the pace of all of the workers and the amount of people they were serving, I'd say that we just happened to come here for the first time at an unusually trying time for their staff. As it was my wife's birthday, I certainly would've liked some things to go more smoothly but, once again, these are professionals, and they treated us with respect, owning up to the shape of our situation without us even having to complain or approach them with the grievance.
(further context: There was a live-music event setting up outside and they also were catering for it (like, cooking as things were happening), along with dealing with a busier-than-average dining room on a Saturday.)
The food is great, the service is professional, the venue is nice, and I guess the only problem they really have is in dealing with the occasional massive wave to their otherwise very-busy restaurant, which is a good problem, I think.

First time trying and i got my food to go. It's in a nice area but there are only a few parking spots by the buildings and there are serveral other businesses around so parking can be hard to find. But got the food home i live about 10 mins away it was barely warm but the ribs were ok not bad. The meat an beans were surprisingly good and mac and cheese was awful idk but to be fair it didn't look that good. Overall not terrible.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Sat at the bar with a friend. We were both ignored. Finally got drinks and a mean order. Food was cold. Flagged down a staff member. They attempted to bring warm food but second round colder than first. Nearly three hours later still sitting here with nobody actually caring enough to ask if I needed anything despite having wallet out and trays stacked. Will never come back to this dump. Bbq is some of the worst I’ve ever had to boot.

Stopped at Home Team BBQ for lunch during a road trip and it hit the spot. As soon as we walked in, it was clear this place is a go-to for locals, busy but efficient. The service was fast, and the food came out quick, which was great for getting back on the road.
We ordered a half rack of ribs, half chicken, baked beans, collards, and mac and cheese. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Bonus: the food traveled well and made for an excellent late-night snack.
If you go, don’t forget to grab a free sticker at the hostess counter. Would definitely stop again.

We were at Fall for Greenville and we sampled many of types of food. Ultimately the smoked wings with Alabama white sauce was soo darn good we had to get some for home!!! Truly tasty AND Delicious!!! Gonna find them in Greenville very soon to get more of their yummy tasty wings!!!😋🤤

Finally decided to give this place a try after hearing about how great the wings are. Spoiler alert: the wings were not great. They were very dry. All of the sides barely had any flavor and had strange textures. The Mac and cheese were like mashed potatoes.

An absolute shit show. Order via the app TOAST for a simple TWO MEAT (sold out of brisket). So we got turkey and chicken. After placing the pickup order. The app pops up Ama n hour and 17 minutes your order will be ready after I pay so that #1 bullshit. I’m across the parking lot at Double Stamp. Went just to check in to make sure. Dude tells me - yes online orders or third. In house first, call ins second, and TOAST third. He said he’d go in the back and let them know. Comes back to tell me he’d call me when it ready. He didn’t. Thought I’d walk back after another twenty minutes. Food sitting in a bag - it’s luke warm - hard - flat tasting. I’ve ate my food and TOAST still says PREPARING FOOD. Not worth the time or the trouble. Oh BTW - SUPER LOUD!
