Stopped at Husk BBQ for lunch during a day trip to Greenville. Staff were very friendly and great but the quality of the food and the prices for lunch left a lot to be desired. The brisket was over cooked and very dry, server asked regarding why I wasn't eating it and asked the manger come to over. I had not planned on mentioning how terrible the brisket was. The manager seemed put out to have to come over but did offer a different plate I declined, she asked for my brisket back. When we received the bill I expected not to be charged since she took my food, that was not the case. My $19 plate was reduced by $7.

Tried this place out with my husband and was truly disappointed. First the good came within minutes of ordering (both the appetizer and main entrees). Then the green beans were inedible - drenched in vinegar and just disgusting. The Mac and cheese was basic (shells with cheese) and at least edible. The pork was okay. Overall very disappointed in the new Husk. They really need to review their service and food. Great location and nice atmosphere but thats where it ends. Their competitor across the street is significantly better. Pass.

I have a new local favorite for BBQ! The pulled pork is so moist and flavorful, no sauce is needed. The fries! I'm as picky about fries as I am about BBQ - I asked the waitress about the fries and she recommended them; they are SO GOOD! I also enjoyed a side of mac & cheese & corn bread (carb, carb, carb but oh so good!). The portions are generous; I took some of mine home to enjoy later. The banana pudding is not traditional southern banana pudding, but very good. The restaurant is one of my favorite downtown buildings - gorgeous stained glass, brick walls. The service was great, waitress helpful with menu. Will definitely be back!

First time at Husk BBQ, taking advantage of restaurant week. BBQ is mediocre compared to other in the Upstate. Baked beans are unusual recipe with peppers so be prepared. Was looking forward to peach cobbler from the advertised menu, the waiter said it was not available, must be a peach shortage in the Upstate :). Unfortunately, Husk BBQ does not compare to the previous Husk.

This was our first time eating at Husks. Out server was very friendly and took our order right away. We got the pulled pork and the brisket with a side of Mac and cheese. The plate came with a slice cornbread. Our food was not at all what we expected. The cornbread has little to no flavor, and it was kind of hard. The pulled pork and brisket were cold and lacked flavor. The Mac and cheese was mediocre. After our meal we decided to get the banana pudding hoping at least the dessert would have made the visit worth it. The banana pudding had absolutely no flavor, and the bananas were most definitely not ripe. We left almost the entire dessert untouched. We were really expecting more from this place and we left very disappointed.

Had a great experience! Waiter was very helpful and helped us decide on few items. We had the beef brisket and wings, and they were awesome

My husband and I are from the Northeast and enjoy good BBQ when we travel to the South. Husk BBQ did not disappoint. The pimento cheese and smoked sausage was awesome. The cornbread catfish was fantastic. The smoked turkey and brisket were great. Before we left, I purchased 2 shirts for us. When we got home I realized that the shirt I bought my husband was clearly not for an adult. I contacted the bar and they said they would mail me a shirt for him. We will definitely be going back!

We came here for dinner and are so glad we did. This is hands down some of the best bbq we have tried. We had the fried spare ribs, cornbread, 3 meat plate with brisket, smoked turkey, and smacked wings. We chose Mac n cheese and fries as our side. The Mac n cheese just about stole the show. It's was nice and creamy. Not like standard bbq Mac n cheese where it tends to be dry and flavorless. The meats didn't need any sauce; they were delicious as is. But the sauces were a wonderful addition. I personally loved the spicy bbq sauce. Additionally, I ordered "the beast" frozen cocktail. It may have been the best frozen drink I have ever had. It was so yummy and was like having dessert in drink form. I can't wait to go back

Shrimp and grits were awesome. Maybe best ever. Unfortunately the pulled pork and brisket were barely edible. Cold and dry - no amount of sauce were gonna save them. Pork ribs were ok. Corn bread was sort of there - no flavor and no moisture. Sorry - but if you are gonna sell this as Husk bbq then you gotta get the bbq right. Otherwise just sell the burgers and other. Will not return....Hard Pass.

Awesome food and atmosphere! just do yourself a favor and order the cornbread skillet, the piece they give you with your meal is literally two bites.
