Can't say enough good things about this place, I ordered Steak Yaki Udon, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the beef was really good, the noodles were great, and ordered a specialty roll, six sense, really good, with wasabi and gari which topped off everything, very nice atmosphere and a friendly waitress and owner.

Do not dine in, the service is painfully slow. Also, they charge you $1.50 extra for fried rice with a hibachi dish - but the rice is not fried rice. It's plain white rice with some soy sauce drizzle on top ... no egg or veggies mixed in. As for the drinks, don't order a cocktail unless you want to be ripped off, barely any liquor mixed in with a lot of juice. The sushi was the only good thing about this place. If I ever consider eating from here again, it will be sushi to go.

Hands down, our favorite restaurant in all of the upstate. We come at least twice a month, and we’ve worked our way through the menu, there’s not a roll we don’t enjoy! The appetizers are wonderful, with a beautiful presentation. I love the staff here, all so kind and attentive.

The hibachi at this restaurant is unlike any other hibachi I've ordered. Usually the menu states hibachi style or teriyaki style - here it just said hibachi so I was shocked to see my food arrive covered in a sticky teriyaki sauce. I said I don't eat teriyaki sauce because of the added sugar and that I'm diabetic but the manager said that's how they make it here and they don't take meals back, no exceptions. She wouldn't let me swap it or do anything to accommodate my dietary restrictions and that despite no info being on the menu stating their take on hibachi and a no refund policy, I had to accept the meal as is. None of the food was good, the sushi is fishy, and they upcharge your food when the bill comes out and act like they don't know how that happened despite it occurring on multiple checks. The manager really sucks here. Go anywhere else for good food and good customer service because this place ain't it.

I'd honestly love to rate this higher, but I just can't. The waitress was super sweet, and the food was good, but one of us literally couldn't eat because the manager just made up a rule of "if it's on the table you can't get it remade/refunded" which is NOT a rule literally almost anywhere else. They didn't specify that they were automatically going to put sauce on the hibachi, which was a sweet sauce that my gf's mother couldn't eat because she's diabetic. And she tried to upcharge us as well, blaming it on the computer. Not to mention they didn't even take the meal my gf's mom couldn't eat off the tab. I'd highly advise coming to this specific location if you or your friends are diabetic or have specific things you can't eat.

One of the best spots in all of Greenville for sushi rolls with a giant selection of more than I could even read through on the menu. Everything from authentic Asian cuisine to salads to sushi. We went specifically to try sushi rolls and were not disappointed at all. Crazy awesome selection of all kinds of rolls to almost any taste it seems. We chose edamame to start which was perfectly prepared. For rolls we chose the crunchy crab roll, jumping shrimp roll, caterpillar roll, and the Over the Rainbow roll. The flavors were like nothing else and it was obvious how fresh all of the intricate ingredients were. Service was above and beyond and I have no clue how anyone can memorize the hundreds of combo options, explanations of the dish or rolls, and total knowledge of the menu. I even tried to stump our server, but she nailed it and I was impressed.In my opinion there are plenty of "good" sushi roll restaurants in Greenville, but Irashiai is simply "excellent"! It's unique, and simply just on a higher level. I reccomend giving this place a try... I don't think you will be disappointed with the food, the service, selection of dishes, and a decent atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!

I accidentally called the wrong location to place an order. We live near the Pelham location and walk to the restaurant. I accidentally placed an order at the Woodruff location and when my husband went to pick up the order at Pelham it was not there. Long story short, I called the other location and told them to cancel the order as my husband already placed the order at the Pelham location and paid for it. Supposedly the order was complete and we were supposed to pick up the order and pay for it. We don’t live anywhere near the location. It was an honest mistake as I used the webpage number to place the order. I tried to fix it and apologized. Apparently they have strict policies. In the past the Pelham location charged another customer’s tab on my order and wanted to add an additional charge to my order for their mistake. It took over 3 days to have the charges removed from our credit card. They would not remove the additional charges. I guess their policies only apply to them and not their repeat customers. So disappointed with the current service. It was not like this 5 years ago. We have been going to irsahasi for almost a decade and sadly no more will we be getting food from them.
