Came here with the wife for dinner the other day. I got the half chicken extra jerk sauce and she got the large jerk plate. The food was amazing, my only complaint was that some of the chicken seemed a little more dry then the other. Other than that, we were not upset about the food at all. The service was good but a little inattentive. And the atmosphere was a little bland. But the part that killed me was we got the punch and it was $10 for 8 ounce of a mix drink. I get down town prices but this seemed a little outrageous.

Door dash is not cheap $65.00 for two meals and two sodas.I don't understand why they have to scrape the bottom of the pot to get what I want.Food dried and stringy. Come on we spend alot to deliver the quality needs to be better. Very afraid to eat out sometimes. They give you anything.please do better.

The beans, rice, and vegetables are really good. The jerk chicken lunch is very affordable and good as well.

Rude boy, yelled at us when we walked in, dine in or to go
If it wasn't for the food I would have left. Rude boy service only got worse for us, but others were seemingly receiving better service.

I ordered Shrimp Curry & Brown Stew Chicken and this food is HORRIBLE!!! There’s no seasoning at all in the food and please tell me how is curry & cabbage orange? I paid $17 for curry shrimp, with only 6 small shrimp. I didn’t receive my plantains or the extra rice I requested. I spent $40 and it wasn’t worth $4. This was my first & last time trying this establishment. It’s not worth the money. I included pictures and we both only took one bite out of our plates. They did give me plenty of thin orange sauce.
Don’t waste your time going to this fake Jamaican restaurant!!!

The food was phenomenal no complaints almost here was great food was wonderful. Full of flavor, only thing I can say is it wasn’t as spicy as other jerk chicken plates I’ve had but overall was amazing. Inexpensive great portions.

****UPDATE. Upset stomach the next day, I think something was OLD*****. I consider myself a Jamaican food connoisseur and this right here was not good. The Jerk chicken was baked, not marinated, dry and burnt, the curry had a smell to it as if it was “Aged” I did not eat it. The price is out of this world for what you get, I spent 40 dollars on two plates with a drink and the plate was not full, just dry chicken with sauce sprinkled on the top and my request for extra sauce to moisturize the chicken was denied. The rice did not even touch the side of the box as you can see in the picture. I used to eat here a few years ago and I don’t remember it being this bad. Hopefully it was a bad day, may give them another shot for redemption. Only upside is that the cabbage is good.

I used to love this place when I moved to Greenville five years ago. Of late, it seems as if the food quality has declined. I arrived at 1pm and ordered brown stew chicken. It was cold, and lacked flavor, it was not fresh. The tax on my receipt was weird. The server added a dollar to the original price then added the tax at the end. I spoke to him about it and he said that’s how it works. I am glad there are other Jamaican restaurants for me to enjoy. How sad.

IT Sucks when you choose to support a local business and are constantly disappointed. Jamaica Mi irie has fell off tremendously the last few years . Either a hit or miss but usually a miss, the food lacks culture/ flavor, the portions are always small or lukewarm, service is moderate . You can spend $30 on one person easily but the food isn't worth it. A serious revamp of the recipes is needed. Go to Irie Caribbean Cuisine on Antrim Dr if you can instead, food is always great, fresh and every worker is super nice when taking care of you .

This place really deserves no stars but of course I had to so I can write a review the waitress was very unprofessional didn’t greet us and took 2 other orders before acknowledging me or my friend we left I will not spend my money on any establishment that treats its guest in such manner

The good reviews are clearly fake, this is the worst Jamaican restaurant I’ve ever been too, the guy at the desk was ruder than any other Jamaican place I’ve been too, spent $37 and barely got any food, the place looks dirty, and there was no one in there at all. The food tasted and looked bad, I’ve never had plantain this nasty in my life
