Fantastic food here! I got the Jerk Chicken lunch special, a chicken patty, and a beef patty. All of it was excellent. The flavor profile of the rice was sooo good, and I don't know what seasonings went into the patties but it had a unique flare that my wife and I loved. Definitely recommend! Arrived at open on Saturday and associate was dancing around in the restaurant with the door locked and closed sign on the door. I tried asking the associate what time the restaurant opens and was told noon which it was noon at the time. The associate refused to come to the door and ignored the fact that I was standing at the door waiting for the restaurant to open now after opening time. Another associate arrived at the restaurant and they opened the door to let the associate in and locked the door back still not acknowledging that I was there after waiting for the restaurant to open. I will not be returning to this establishment after being treated like pretty much a dog standing at the door begging for food when I’m a paying customer. What a shame to see an establishment ran so poorly especially a black owned establishment in such an area. Do better coming from a black paying customer.

Nice dining experience at Jamaica MI Irie. The food was very flavorful, hot, and freshly prepared. I enjoyed the decor of the restaurant and music that played. Our server was very quick to serve us and ensured that our experience was great. I would visit again here!

The meal was great the service was great! Thank you there was no one there when we got there then there were two other couples. There was a woman that came from the streets was allowed to go to the restroom to freshen up. That was so kind of them. I met her and spoke to her. It was a moment in time I'll never forget. I smiled at her and she looked at me and Mike's and told me that I was beautiful and I told her the same. She asked for some change to get McDonald's but I didn't have it to give. After she left I didn't think to just give her my left over plate. That hurt me that I wasn't quick on my feet to serve her. Lord has forgiven me. Anyway it was a nice place to be downtown Greenville!

I've tried going three times. They say they open at 11, but when we go around 11:45 or 12 they are still not open. Their signs are off and no one is inside. Can't even try the place to properly rate it. Change your hours online if you're not open
