There's very few places that seem like sitting down at Grandma's house to enjoy good food, good people and nice atmosphere but this is just what I think of this place. We had the pork chops and the turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing and cranberries and large lima beans and steamed cabbage and man was it all very good. Not just good but very good, and I'm picky about paying for food when I'm a good cook myself. Make no mistake by going somewhere else. Miss Stacy is the owner and quite the lovely lady, she runs a tight ship. The place is very clean, the staff is pleasant and on top of things for the customers. This is where the locals go, so you know if they have locals it's the place to go. Locals don't waste their time, they repeat a place to keep it open so they can come back again. We will be back again and again, I suggest you come here as well if you want a good meal, good service, pleasant atmosphere and a comfortable seat to sit on. The prices are beyond reasonable so you won't go home with an empty pocket unless you eat a lot! I can't say anything bad about this place because it was all good, better than five stars.Vegetarian options: Made from scratch, need I say more.Parking: There is a lot of parking, but there is a lot of visitors as well.

Went there for the first time on Saturday. Ended up with food poisoning. Food was, well, you figure it out. Service was good. Ambiance was severely lacking. Building in very bad shape. When I left, I then noticed the "B" rating on the door. Wish I had seen it before I went in.

I used to eat at K&S many years ago when I was still working in Greenville, I would go maybe once a month or so for lunch during the week but after I retired, I haven't been back since until this past Sunday when I took my family there for lunch. We got there about 12 noon and it wasn't crowded at all and got seated right away. The waitress who was very nice, came and took our order and brought the food out promptly. That's where the good review ends. Our food was not hot at all. I would say it was more of a lukewarm, and that made it taste not as good as it would have been had it been hot. Another problem was once our waitress brought our food out. She never came back to check on us. After about 45 minutes and we all decided we were tired of eating food that was not hot. My wife went to find another waitress to get us to go boxes. As I went to the cash register to pay, the owner was running the cash register and I told her that the food was not hot and there was something wrong and she said that she had been trying to sell the business for about a year and that her heat lamps in the kitchen had gone bad and she didn't want to spend the money to repair or replace them. Well I hate that because I and my family will not be going back until and unless we find out the food is safe and hot again.

Full parking lot but half full dining area...still a very long wait for food. The additional sausage was written on ticket but not in the omelette (At least I wasn't charged for it). 5 of us. Not a 1 had a good taste experience. We were already there way longer than we intended then had to wait another few minutes for someone to come tend the cash register. First and last time to visit. 2 stars is being generous.
Great place to get country home cooked food. Really gives you that local yocal kind of feeling ?

The server was nice and attentive we had breakfast even though it was midmorning, our eggs where cooked to perfection, but the sausage patties were very dry.The restaurant looked clean and we will give it another try.
