Don’t Waste your time or money here. The atmosphere feels off and it’s very quiet. I do not recommend this restaurant. Me and my friend ate here and got food poisoning from it. we apparently had undercooked chicken and we got a case of food poisoning from that. Don’t come to this restaurant! I’m not trying to be rude or anything but i just do not recommend this restaurant at all!

Oh man. The way I cheered when they brought my yukgaejang 육개장. I lived in Korea for the last 8 years but returned to SC 3 months ago. I’ve driven to ATL for the Korean barbecue grill experience, but this place wins the award for best Korean food in Greenville. I’ve tried the local trendy Kbbq places that have recently opened, and they just don’t get it. Go to Atlanta to grill your own meat, and come here to get all the goodness that a Korean meal contains. Soups, sides, jeon, lunchboxes. It all has that 집맛 taste!

Food is fantastic and authentic. Service was friendly and helpful with our questions. Certainly a hidden gem of Greenville (store front is on Miller Rd), and there is extra parking in the back. This is a local, family owned and operated restaurant and they've certainly got the secret of serving up delicious Korean dishes.

Delicious, authentic Korean food. They bring you 6 side dishes including sweet mashed potato, pickled cucumber, kimchi, bean sprouts broccoli, and sweet potato noodles all tasting great.We ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup (dokmanduguk) and a yukejang soup (shredded beef and veggie). They brought us out huge bowls of soup and it was HOT and freshly made. Some of the best food I’ve had in a while and I would highly recommend to anyone that’s hungry, looking for warm food, and try some home style restaurant.

This was my first time ever coming in and ordering this type of cuisine, so I had no idea of what I was doing just wanted to try something new. I felt rushed and not welcomed at all by the older lady with black hair. She was very ignorant towards me. As I was making my order and taking my time to see what I selected, she rushed me and yelled at me for not picking a soup(again, this was my first time here). And then I heard her talking about me to the younger hostess and laughing in her native tongue. Horrible customer and I will never patronize them again. Totally lost me as a future customer.

The food and service are fantastic. My only complaint is my favorite meal the Jabchaebab is inconsistent with the amount of steak. Sometimes it’s a good portion, sometimes there’s practically none, sometimes there’s maybe 2 small slivers.

01/13/2023 Update: service is very slow and chaotic. Need more staff on weekend dinner service. We waited 30 minutes for our table, came back in, 2 ladies walked in front of us. The mother complained about waiting for seating thus we were ignored and not seated. Front of house walked off after talking to lady and daughter. We were still not seated so we sat down at open 2 seater table. Meanwhile, mom and daughter sat down in corner table. Then our server told us we would have to move. I was upset because I just wanted a nice birthday dinner and waited patiently for a table for it then to be taken over by 2 other parties that came in afterwards. This wrong was not corrected. Server was not happy with husband's questions. I just want to know why we had to move and not the other party that checked in afterwards. I was just so upset I couldn't say anything, plus I was too hungry to go elsewhere. And I'm 6 months pregnant. They need more organization at the front of house, a designated host at dinner, and a better system for seating.Very nice small restaurant. Small but great selection of nutritious foods. The portions are appropriate for the price. I ordered bibimbap and it was plenty. The beef was tender and seasoned well. Many nicely cut vegetables on the side dishes. I highly recommend for a newcomer wanting to try Korean bbq for the first time.
