Lovely restaurant. We dined here before seeing the final show Tina Turner Musical at Peace Center. We ordered appetizers because we didn’t want to eat heavy and seat through a show. Our meal began with crusty delicious sourdough baguettes (didn’t really have the sour taste of sourdough, which was fine because I don’t care for sourdough bread). Followed by three deviled eggs which were quite tasty and shareable. Then we had the she-crab soup which was very delicious and seasoned perfectly. Next appetizer (that really took a long time to come) was the apple & prosciutto salad. The salad is full of greens, two types of apples, and spicy walnuts. It was good but could have been better if it came with the missing prosciutto and dried figs. (SMH)Our last appetizer the crab cakes were tasty. The texture was different (creamy) than what we were use to (coming from MD/VA area) but it was seasoned and tasty. Our server was pleasant and personable and offered good meal recommendations. We plan to return to try one of those humongous ribeyes!

We used to eat at the old Larkins at the park regularly. We went twice to the new location and were extremely disappointed. Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. We even did a group dinner with 10 people, and every person complained about the value and quality of the meal. It is not the same anymore. We have no plans to return. With a couple of drinks and a meal it can easily be over $100 per person. At that price everything should be superb.

horrible wait staff! Seated at 6 pm prior to an 8 pm show across the street at the peace center. We are season ticket holders and have already been to Larkins 2 times this season and this was just pathetic. Food was good- not great - but good.We took my husbands mom and dad out for dinner and a show for their 54 wedding anniversary. Reservation for 615, seated at 6- first waiter ( ? Michael) asked if we were seeing the show. Then brings our drinks- we literally had to flag he and his partner waiter ( guierellmo) down to place our order 45 minute after being seated. Food did not arrive until 1 hour 15 minutes after being seated. Wait staff stopped by the table 2 times only- and only when flagged down. Never voluntarily stopped to ask if we needed anything. Obviously no time for dessert of anything to mark a pretty special anniversaryTo get the bill so that we could leave at 745 - I had to go and find a manager- manager offered very weak apology and did not come to the table to offer an apology to the others. Bill still didn’t arrive for another 5 minutes, and they knew we were in a rush to make the show this point. 74 year old mother in law ( walks with a cane)had to basically sprint to the theater.Horrible experience- restaurant was not crowded enough to explain such poor service. Manager ( Jason) was a very poor representative of a normally decent restaurant

The food gets a 3 only because it took two hours and 15 mins for the entrees to arrive. The server was fantastic but even his wonderfulness couldn't make up for the time issue. It was a large party but our clients were getting very impatient and tired and had early flights out the next day. We were on the patio and it varied from freezing and jackets on to hot flash sweating with the patio heater on. This was a very important event for us, and I wouldn't choose this place again to take a client for an important dinner. Go to Sassafras or Tupelo Honey for an event with clients. They can get you the service, food and timing down. Maybe save this place for a two person date night where they will serve you quickly. Unfortunately, everyone saw every other table around us come and go before our food arrived.

I went for a birthday dinner. Very nice vibe. Everyone was very friendly. Oysters Rockefeller was soooo delicious. The chicken was very moist and good.

Because the stuff at Carol was not friendly today, I ended up at Larkin's. The happy hours here are amazing and the food is excellent! I highly recommend this place.

I want to rate them high because 20 years ago Larkin's was one of the best, most romantic steak restaurants in the area.Since they've moved into a new space, the atmosphere is not as warm, but cool, modern, & stoic. Service is very good, but the food is two-three stars at best. It's not bad, but it's definitely not up to par with what they charge for it. It's very expensive. As with all restaurants, it is worth a try if you're in Downtown Greenville and to form your own opinion, but know ahead that it is extra pricey for mid-grade food but very good service!Vegetarian options: Salads

My husband & I dined at Larkin’s with friends on 3/9/24. They have a great menu and food was delicious. The bar has a good drink selection as well. Our server Cassandra was amazing! She remembered us from our last visit and even remembered what we ordered! She is pleasant and helpful and was very attentive. She and Paula made our evening so enjoyable! We will definitely be back!!

Restaurant was freezing cold inside. Waitstaff was rude and inattentive. Food was mediocre at best. We had been told it was about the same level as Ruth Chris which was certainly not the case. I would not recommend at all

Service was excellent! Wait time for food was longer than expected. Our guest, that ordered the filet, asked for it a little pink but not bloody, with blue cheese crust. It came well done, like shoe leather. We didn't want to wait for another one. Manager did take the steak off the bill, very nice, but not the blue cheese crust. Lol. Guess that was separate. I really don't like ala cart restaurants. The sides are usually too big for one person, and each person doesn't necessarily want to share the same side. It wasn't a bad evening, it just could've/shouldve been better with the prices they charge!

The restaurant atmosphere was awesome, waiting staff was superb, the food was good however my filet mignon was sub par for a 80 00 steak. I have had better at Longhorn. My daughter's short ribs was amazing along with desert. I'll give them another try but will go with rib eye next time.

Went there Sunday night for my birthday dinner with my husband. Was horrible. Was us and family out in the patio. The family was getting great service, manager checked on them several times, shined a flashlight in steaks to make sure they were cooked like that wanted. Then there was us. Had to ask for the bread. $50 steak was charred and no one ever asked how it was or if it was cooked right. $20 shrimp cocktail came with 3 shrimps and saltines. Was a waste. We felt like crap compared to other group. Made us realized they could care less about us. Food was horrible ,experience was horrible. Will never go back. We left with $130 down and frustrated. I cannot express my frustration enough.

Wish the waitress had tried a little harder on my wife's allergies. We felt like she went directly to a no seasoning plate vs. checking with the chef to see if we needed to make any changes on her order to accomadate her food allergies.
