We've lived in the area for 3 years and kept telling ourselves we needed to try Limoncello, and we finally did. Staff were friendly and attentive and food was good, not particularly special. We had the antipasto board, which was nice and filling, and shared the Italian chopped salad and meatball appetizer for dinner. That combo, complemented by a couple glasses of a nice Corvina, filled us nicely, and was good but, again, not particularly overwhelming. If we hadn't had pizza the night before we would likely have tried one of the pizzas, and we'll do that when we return, which we'll do. The patio is charming and a great place to dine on a nice evening, but they need a compelling signature dish(es) that differentiates them.

The wife and I held our rehearsal dinner here a few years back, so Limoncello's held a special place in our hearts...therefore, I thought this was a great spot to celebrate the wife's 30th birthday. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were told we had to wait until the "exact time." After waiting, we were then given a table immediately on the corner of a high traffic area. We ordered an appetizer and were motivated to make the best out of the horrible table location. The spinach artichoke was sad, overly watery, and bland flavor. The Caesar salad was even worst. While eating, i had about 6 people (my waiter included) bumping into my shoulder because of how over crowded it was. After the 6th time, I requested a new table; The manager accommodated and apologized after she watched me get repeatedly hit. When the main course was served it was extremely disappointing. My wife's salmon looked and tasted like a frozen filet from Walmart and my lasagna looked and tasted like it sat under a heat lamb all day. For the price, this was horrible and quite frankly embarrassing. The inside was extremely loud, over crowded to the point of a fire hazard, and the food was no where close to what we remember from our rehearsal dinner. After I paid the manager came over and gave us a $25 gift card. Thank you, but after this experience we will never come back. I spent over $100 on a dinner that was at best worth $30. Moral of the story: go somewhere else.

My wife and I were looking for a great Italian restaurant and chose Limoncello. They had fantastic outdoor seating which was perfect! The garlic knots were incredible! We split the Italian salad and lasagna! I tried several times to say I was done eating, but I confess I had at least 3 bites after that. The atmosphere, service, and food was fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful food, I’ve ordered several different dishes now and every single one is fantastic, the desserts are so incredibly delicious- the gluten free lemon almond cake is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with their Italian coffee dessert drinkThe service is friendly and knowledgeable of their menu, every now and then they may forget to refill your drink but you’ll be having such a wonderful time it’ll be fineI will go there every time I’m in the area,

A friend and I recently took a day trip to Greenville, SC for our spring break getaway. We came here one night for dinner and really enjoyed this restaurant overall. The food was excellent, I ordered the Creamy Tuscan Chicken Pasta and my friend got the Saltimbocca Pizza for her entree. The pasta was very creamy and cooked to perfection, the chicken was also tasty and not dry which is a plus. My friend loved the pizza, it was exactly what she wanted and she is a picky eater so that's saying something. We also ordered Garlic Knots for our appetizer and they were some of the best garlic knots we've had. They were soft, warm, and you could easily pull them apart (as they should be). They had a great amount of garlic to them, it wasn't over the top like some places do and they give you alfredo & marina dipping sauces with it. We both got the Limoncello 75 cocktail, it was quite tart and refreshing. Tasted just like a lemon drop martini which is what I wanted. The service was wonderful, our waitress was attentive to our every need and very helpful on giving us recommendations on what to order! The ambiance in this restaurant is nice as well, very relaxed overall and the front patio is very pretty with a lot of seating. Definitely recommend this place to anybody who's looking for a quality dinner restaurant in downtown Greenville!

Was told there was no seating available only the bar. Seen her seat a group of people who didn’t have reservation and a couple and there was only two of us. The bar never brought appetizers or mimosa’s and we three be seated at the bar after us who received their drinks and appetizer. When asked about our bread and drinks he said the kitchen was slow but repeatedly kept asking us what we ordered but never heard him ask anyone else. Now, I never leave reviews or talk about race but it felt like a color issue. I would not recommend this to anyone of color even though it was highly recommended to me.

We went to Limoncello for a few drinks after visiting Reedy Park. We shared the homemade "Birthday cake" gellato and loved it. We had an espresso bourbon old fashion and a Limoncello 75. Drinks were awesome, and our bartender was just as awesome. This place is great for low-key lunch or dinner. The "airy" feel of the restaurant allows for nice outdoor dining experience.

Ordered the chicken parm. We sat outside at night so lighting was not good, which was only a problem because I didn’t notice my chicken was severely undercooked until about half way in. It had a chewy/crunch to it but didn’t think too much about it, just thought maybe their food wasn’t great, until I shined my phone light on it. Over 48 hours later and I’m still having severe food poisoning symptoms!Gave it 2 stars because my wife and kid enjoyed their food, server was nice and atmosphere was good.

The worst service, 1 hour and 30 minutes, I'm disgusted with the poor experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. Managers dropped the ball.

Upon arriving for our 3:00 reservation on Easter Sunday, the place was crazy busy. Being a beautiful day, most outside tables were occupied and the majority of inside tables were as well. Our server Alex was excellent as was Jonah at the bar. The manager Mellisa (?) stopped by our table to check on how things were. Our food, Salmon Piccata for Hubs and Tuscan Chicken for me, were both so good! We will be back soon!
